[[/index]]
----
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Anastasia}}'': Bartok is this, being loyal to Rasputin but at the same time, more interested in partying and having fun and tries to inspire his master to abandon his vendetta against the Romanov dynasty and "get a life". He is not very realistic...
* The "cutting edge" appliances from ''WesternAnimation/TheBraveLittleToaster'' are friendly and welcoming to the main cast at first. But then they figure out their plans to reunite with their master, and all kindness is gone.
* ''WesternAnimation/ABugsLife'': Molt is very cheerful and friendly, unlike the rest of the grasshoppers. He never really does anything bad in the film, and ultimately makes a HeelFaceTurn.
* ''Franchise/DespicableMe'':
** Gru is gradually softened into this over the course of [[WesternAnimation/DespicableMe1 the first film]].
** El Macho from [[WesternAnimation/DespicableMe2 the sequel]] counts too. It's pretty clear he's incredibly nice, even after he's revealed himself to be NotQuiteDead.
* Generally, Smiler from ''WesternAnimation/TheEmojiMovie'' is friendly and kind to the other emojis. However, that doesn't prevent her from being vicious to anything she views as a threat.
* Kronk in ''WesternAnimation/TheEmperorsNewGroove'' is a charismatic GentleGiant and only "evil" by virtue of [[PunchClockVillain being Yzma's henchman]].
* ''WesternAnimation/Frozen2013'': [[spoiler:Duke of Weselton is this. He will kill to have his way (to secure trade advantages) but shows care and concern for his soldiers as well as the people of Arendelle.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/IceAgeTheMeltdown'': The Lone Gunslinger is very polite calm and decent with the herd.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheLandBeforeTimeVIITheStoneOfColdFire'': Pterano is arrogant, unscrupulous, and motivated by wanting to rule all dinosaurs. That being said, he's generally a pleasant guy even to his enemies and people he doesn't like, wants power because [[WellIntentionedExtremist he genuinely thinks him being in charge would be best for everybody]], and [[EvenEvilHasStandards refuses to hurt children]]. He even makes a HeelFaceTurn at the end of the movie.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheLEGOMovie'': Good Cop isn't ''that'' much less evil than Bad Cop, but he's a lot more outwardly friendly.
* ''WesternAnimation/LiloAndStitch'': [[MadScientist Jumba Jookiba]] may constantly boast over his status as an evil genius, and he may have created over 600 artificial life-forms which range from mischievous to downright destructive, but he's a pretty decent and sociable guy overall. He even gets a HeelFaceTurn near the end of the movie.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Megamind}}'' may be a CardCarryingVillain, but he's fairly laid-back and does villainous deeds not out of malice, but to get some attention. When he [[spoiler:accidentally kills his arch-nemesis and takes over Metro City]] he tells the citizens that they should ''"Have fun with this"'', then does little more than throw some wild parties with a body count of 0.
* ''WesternAnimation/MonstersInc1'': [[spoiler:[[WellIntentionedExtremist Henry J. Waternoose]]]] is genuinely friendly with Sully, and is sincerely regretful when his plans require [[spoiler:trapping him in the human world]]. Even after [[spoiler:he has Sulley banished seemingly forever, Waternoose still defends his old friend's reputation and snaps angrily at his [[TheDragon Dragon]] Randall for insulting him.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/TheNightmareBeforeChristmas'': Lock, Shock and Barrel may be a trio of spooky little brats, but they generally come off as friendly when they're not trying to make trouble.
* ''WesternAnimation/PeterPan'': Mr. Smee is this, being a very cheerful and friendly fellow. He's only considered a villain because he serves Hook.
* ''WesternAnimation/ThePrinceOfEgypt'': Rameses is quite a bit more sympathetic than other portrayals of the Biblical Pharaoh. He is a good, loving father and genuinely loves his adoptive brother Moses. However, he is far too obsessed with [[WellDoneSonGuy appeasing the wishes of his father]], and this blinds him to the suffering of the Hebrews. His {{fatal flaw}}s are his {{pride}} and stubbornness, which lead to all of Egypt's suffering.
-->'''Rameses:''' I do not know this God. Neither will I let your people go.\
'''Moses:''' Rameses, please, you must listen.\
'''Rameses:''' I will not be the weak link!
* ''WesternAnimation/RobinHood1973'': [[EvilGenius Sir Hiss]] may be a snake both [[SmugSnake figuratively]] and [[SnakesAreSinister literally]], but he's considerably more pleasant than either [[RoyalBrat Prince John]] or [[CardCarryingVillain the Sheriff of Nottingham]].
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Sahara}}'' gives us [[spoiler:the glowworms. They may turn out to be flesh-eating creatures who will trap whatever unlucky creature wanders into their lair in silk saliva, but they're nothing if not amiable. They gave Ajar and his friends directions to find the humans who took Eva, invited them to stay for a feast, then sang them a cheerful song (about eating their visitors). [[MoodWhiplash And then they proceeded to try and eat our heroes]], but even then, the glowworms remain all giggly and cute and cheery.]]
* Gabby Gabby from ''WesternAnimation/ToyStory4'' is a very polite, soft-spoken toy who definitely doesn't exude malice in the slightest. But she's very focused on what she wants, and will do morally-questionable things to get them. She holds Forky captive for information, but she treats him very well, coming to regard him as an actual friend. And once she has what she wants, [[spoiler: which is Woody's voice box, which she doesn't even take by force, but by diplomacy,]] she lets both Woody and Forky go without a fight. In the end, the "Evil" part of the Trope no longer applies, and it only applied in the first place because Gabby was desperate.
-->'''Gabby:''' Stop them, please.
* Captain Kiddie from ''WesternAnimation/TomAndJerryTheMovie'' was a genuinely NiceGuy who treated Robyn very well and came across as a fun loving guy... until he found out about the million dollar reward for her return.
-->'''Robyn:''' I thought you were a nice man.\
'''Captain Kiddie:''' But I ''am'', my dear!\
'''Squawk:''' He'll be even nicer... with a million smackaroo!
* King Llort from ''WesternAnimation/ATrollInCentralPark''. Unlike his wife Gnorga, he's more interested in good publicity than being bad for the sake of being bad and favors exile over the death penalty.
* [[spoiler:Charles Muntz]] from ''WesternAnimation/{{Up}}''. He's genuinely polite and friendly to any visitors he may find... as long as [[spoiler:he doesn't think they're after the bird]]. If [[spoiler:Muntz]] does think someone is standing in his way, [[AxCrazy he shows just how off his rocker he is]].
