The revelation that it was tech salvaged from what was strongly implied to be a GL imposter, settled some of these issues.

ArcFatigue: The first two arcs go on for a combined 14 issues, much of which is spent with the idea that a Pre-Teen could somehow hack into Green Lantern Tech, both due to its nigh-impossibility and how it wasn't initially elaborated on. The revelation that it was tech salvaged from what was strongly implied to be a GL imposter, settled some of these issues.
*** Furthermore a kid running
cast doing very little, being extremely passive about the events going on around with such them, and in general moving at a weapon should have snail's pace. Generally, much of the criticism about the book centres on how drawn immediate concern from out the opening storyline is, which greatly robs the book of any Green Lantern especially John Stewart who’s known to be way more responsible than the other 5 human lanterns. This addressed in the final issue.

** The return of Bart Allen and Conner Kent, which not only make a point to declare the greatly disliked InNameOnly DarkerAndEdgier versions of them from New 52 are firmly ''not'' the characters from previous continuity, but these characters are completely unacknowledged. On top of that, Conner specifically is restored to his 90s-era design, with a leather jacket and punk-rock aesthetic, which is greatly preferred to his brawnier and BrokenBase inducing T-shirt and jeans look from the 2000s.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: The story mostly focuses on aspects of the status quo that have already been explained (like Bart and Connor missing New 52 because they weren't in mainstream reality during the reset), while leaving aside the implications of more interesting implications. The fact that Tim getting gets his memories of pre-Flashpoint back but easily while Stephanie's appearing appear to have been wiped entirely.entirely, for example, goes unaddressed.
** Although Bart and Connor's trauma about coming back to a universe that's completely different from the one they left is dealt with, the story never really explores the feelings of the characters realising that they used to lead entirely different lives. [[FridgeLogic You think Tim would have something to say about realising he's been de-aged by two years.]]

* EndingFatigue: After its first arc, the series loses most of its direction and pretty much peters towards its ending. Questions about the previous timeline and the last incarnation of Young Justice that seem like they'll create a MythArc end up basically being repeated without any answers for a few issues. The issue is exasperated because the reader [[ComicBook/TheButton already knows what's going on]] and both Tim and Bart have good relationships with their mentors [[PoorCommunicationKills who could easily explain the situation]] (which actually results in that aspect getting [[ShaggyDogStory almost completely dropped]] when they finally meet up with said mentors). It also has mini-arcs focusing on some of its less prominent characters, but they're so short and action-focused that there isn't actually that much time to focus on their characters. Then it all ends with a finale that comes out of nowhere and still resolves nothing.

** After the initial excitement of YJ's return wore off, fan reaction to the series generally fell into two camps. Some thought that Bendis wrote the OG members well, and appreciated the addition of a diverse set of supporting characters; others thought that he mishandled the dynamics between the OGs and failed to give the new members distinctive personalities, resulting in a book that felt slow and overstuffed.
** Some Franchise/GreenLantern fans were unimpressed by the addition of a "Teen Lantern" to the franchise, as there are already six human Lanterns (seven, if we include Jo from ComicBook/FarSector) and ComicBook/HalJordanAndTheGreenLanternCorps made it clear that the Corps has a policy against recruiting underage members, making it especially implausible that John Stewart would allow a pre-teen to keep a weapon that hacks into the power battery. Others didn't mind the idea; but even among those fans, many felt that Bendis failed to make Keli interesting and thought that Tai Pham from Green Lantern: Legacy would have been a better pick.

* SoOkayItsAverage: The general consensus about the series after the BrokenBase controversy is scraped away. While the book isn't exactly bad, it moves very slowly and accumulates too many characters to flesh them all out.

* {{Narm}}: The alternate universe Tim Drake that regular Tim meets mocks Tim for still being ''a'' Robin. When Tim asks him what's ''his'' name then? '''Drake'''. Not only is it just sort of dumb to be using his real name, the way he justifies it is, "It's one of the most dangerous birds. It's who I am." A drake is a male duck, which isn't exactly dangerous when the criminals of Gotham could distract Tim by throwing bread on the floor. Bonus for Tim agreeing that it's a good name. And even more so when it becomes ''Tim's'' new identity. This was ultimately touched upon in issue 18 after Tim goes back to being Robin.

Hilarious In Hindsight is misuse, as Hilarious In Hindsight is where something is made funny or more funny thanks to later events.

* HilariousInHindsight: Early in the 2003 run of the ''Comicbook/TeenTitans'', when the team (who was half-made up of members of the original Young Justice) get into a misunderstanding with the Justice League, John Stewart quips on the kids' stubbornness with "And people ask why there's no 'Teen Lantern'". Well, now there ''is'' a Teen Lantern (granted, she's not a Corps member, but close enough).

* WinBackTheCrowd: The announcement of this series and the return of Conner Kent has made a lot of Young Justice fans who were disappointed over the cast’s sidelining over the years very happy.

* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments:
** Issue 6 has Amethyst explaining about Dark Opal's powers and connection to his gem and how hardcore it will be to gets it... only for Impulse, in true Impulse fashion, disappear and reappear (in just two panels!) with said gem, leaving Amethyst and the rest of YJ gobsmacked. He then makes sure it's the right one by confirming it was next to a supposedly mind-destroying horrifying EldritchAbomination Amethyst was trying to warn the team about.
*** Another Bart moment comes when Dark Opal brings a piece of Kryptonite to bring Conner to his knees...only for Bart to jump him, grab it, carry it thousands of miles away and be back before Dark Opal can even comprehend what just happened.
** Teen Lantern reveals she hacked into a Green Lantern Power Battery so she could get an internship at the Hall of Justice. The older kids tell her she might get into spot of trouble for this.
** Issue 7 has Jinny and Teen Lantern speechless as they travel the multiverse. Landing in the world of Captain Carrot and the Zoo Crew leads Superboy to refuse to talk the entire time he was there.
** After landing in the world of ''ComicBook/KingdomCome'' and getting superheroes of that reality to send them home, we get a scene of Doctor Fate casually informing other heroes he screwed up and sent Young Justice to a wrong world, in a way like if he caused a minor inconvenience. Wonder Woman takes a deep breath, like if she was trying to calm herself down listening to his excuses.
** In issue 17, Batman takes Drake aside to talk with Impulse and Superboy watching from a distance. We don’t hear what was said but when Batman walks away Drake just looks down seeming kind of bummed out. This may sound like a TearJerker, except the following issue makes it clear that he was just telling Tim that he hated his new costume and identity.

** Robin has his moments, especially when he gets nervous and flustered when put in charge of leading team alpha and his facial expressions to his teammates' antics.* AuthorsSavingThrow: Fans were not enthused with the idea that a Pre-Teen could somehow hack into Green Lantern Tech, both due to its nigh-impossibility and how it wasn't initially elaborated on. ** After Red Arrow spends the first two seasons as rather uptight and angry, by the third season his demeanor's completely changed. He makes bad puns and jokes about diarrhea, is openly worried about his insurance premiums when Brick attacks his car, and gets adorably flustered during his time with the moms in "Home Fires." In short, he is such a ''dad''.
** Zatanna in Season 1, at least, where she shares Robin's love of wordplay and occasionally mixes BuffySpeak into her magic spells.
** Wonder Girl's cluelessness, general clumsiness and idolization of Wonder Woman make her very endearing.
** Wally's expansive scientific knowledge is appealing to many fans.
** Thirteen gets so excited about visiting an alien planet that she ''jumps'' into a Boom Tube, and accidentally throws off the destination with her magic.
** AmnesiacsAreInnocent is in full effect for Violet, which means Halo/Violet is curious, excitable, and seemingly oblivious to many social cues ([[DistractedByTheSexy like idly commenting on Brion's naked body]]). She's endearingly awkward.
