* FailOSuckyName: Having a hero name like ''Basura''? In Tagalog (and in Spanish), it means rubbish/trash. To be fair, she knew what the word meant and chose it because her costume was actually made from things she found in the trash.

* AntiVillain: The Dark Enforcer could be seen as a Type 1. Even though he was a menacing supervillain and held a grudge against his former teammates, he still worked for Stan Lee (referring to him as "boss"), didn't hurt the superheroes' family and friends when he "interviewed" them, and gave himself up once the remaining three heroes stopped him from blowing up Universal Park.

** Whip-Snap's wangsting got her ''eliminated'' - Stan Lee's final speech to her basically said, "If you can't deal with your own problems, you have no business being a superhero on top of it." He ought to have made the obvious comparasion to SpiderMan, noting that (at least when written well), Peter Parker actually ''works'' to ''solve'' the problems amidst his superhero life, rather than crying about it ''every damn time''.

** Before that, the Defuser standing up straight and walking with ''two attack dogs biting onto his arms''. This alone probably scored him the win.

To put it in perspective, most of the others just ran to the door or gave up when the dogs got them down.

* CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming: Just after being eliminated from the show, Major Victory received a phone call from the estranged teenage daughter who was his reason for doing the show, cleaning up his act and generally trying to be a better person. He sobbed, his daughter sobbed, Feedback and Fat Momma sobbed...but you know it's a CMOH when ''Stan Lee'' cries!
** There are a couple involving Feedback in Season 1. First off, during one of the elimination segments, he chokes up as he confesses that via comic books, he always thought of Stan Lee as father-figure (Feedback confessed in a different episode that he lost his father to suicide). Another comes when Fat Mama expresses concern for Feedback, worrying if he could handle it if he lost the grand prize after so much investment (emotional and otherwise).

game, not a trope.

* BetterThanItSounds: As [[AtopTheFourthWall Linkara]] once put it, the show embraces its silliness enough to be entertaining, and it is refreshing to see a reality show where being a good person is what actually gets you ahead.
