B.O.T. wrapped up season 2 before the film's release, which killed off a number of Autobots, including Ironhide, in the first few minutes.

* DesignatedHero: Martin and Roland. They act like complete asses, with their EstablishingCharacterMoment involving turning a harmless laser into a potentially fatal weapon just to annoy their teacher. At the end they ''[[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything tape Elise's mouth shut and drag her off]]'' as the Autobots watch and do nothing about it. There's a reason they are widely seen as psychopaths, especially since they seem to be smiling for most of the episode.

* IdiotPlot: Holy hell... Swindle sells off the remains of his combiner team, but Megatron needs their combiner form to fire his new invention. He threatens to blow Swindle up unless he reassembles them within the next 15 hours, potentially destroying an equally important member of the team. Three kids create a super-intelligent robot using Brawl's brain. Megatron's plan makes little sense, and it's not explained why he needs Bruticus to use the cannon since other combiners exist. Autobots don't act until said cannon is ready to fire, despite the fact that it can be seen from their HQ. They don't really fight back, and are saved as the cannon is destroyed by B.O.T, who simply presses a button labeled "Overcharge" located on human-level control panel.

* WhatAnIdiot: Megatron has Soundwave install a bomb in Swindle's head to ensure he reassembles the Combaticon team within 15 hours. So his plan to rebuild Bruticus involves him potentially blowing up an equally important part of the combiner. And he doesn't assign anyone else to look for the parts, which would obviously improve the chances of reassembling the Combaticons.

* TheScrappy: Roland & Martin. They're obnoxious, mean-spirited, turn a laser to dangerous levels as a prank, and drag poor Elise around against her will after ''taping her mouth shut''.

That they do that last action in front of the Autobots, who do nothing to stop them or call them out for this makes ''both'' sides look bad, and the duo even worse.

The canon is covered under Informed Ability.

* BadassDecay: Megatron's orbital cannon is stated to be capable of knocking the moon off it's orbit and obliterating the Autobot HQ... and when it's fired, it only knocks some Decepticons off their feet.
