** Lachy is generally liked by the fans, but some believe that he's probably the most "boring" of the current lineup personality-wise. He's fine as a singer, but it's clear not much thought was put into his character as they gave him the same HeavySleeper gimmick as Jeff (WordOfGod says it's the purple skivvy that causes the wearer to sleep so much) but lacks the latter's energy and hamminess too much for older fan's liking.

* SugarWiki/AwesomeMoments: The band ''finally'' did a crossover with Series/SesameStreet in November 2019. Considering this is something many fans had most likely wanted to see for over twenty years, this is most definitely awesome.

* FollowTheLeader: With the success of The Wiggles, imitators obviously followed, the most popular of these being Series/HiFive.

* ShallowParody: The band received one in an episode of ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'' in the form of [[https://youtu.be/d8oTFPu103M "The Turtlenecks"]]. They wear the same colours as the Wiggles, and the yellow one is basically Greg with a mustache.

* EnsembleDarkhorse: Emma. It's to the point where the group have reported little girls [[PeripheryDemographic a bit outside of The Wiggles' primary demographic]] coming to live shows dressed up as Emma. She's also gotten her own spinoff series, album, and merch (the latter of which is sometimes faced with HypeBacklash by parents online).

** Regardless of opinions on the current lineup, it's pretty much universally agreed that Simon is without question one of the most talented vocalists the band has ever had.

* LGBTFanbase: A lot of [[PeripheryDemographic the Wiggles' adult fans]] are LGBT+. The band themselves are quite LGBT+-friendly, to the point of having queer backup performers and having backstage meetings with queens from Series/RuPaulsDragRace. They've been leaning into it recently on social media, well-illustrated by [[https://twitter.com/TheWiggles/status/1125531949257437185 this Twitter post they made about the 2019 Met Gala]].

* SeinfeldIsUnfunny: When the band was first formed they were actually a big turning point for Children's music back in 1991, their wacky music videos as well as being one of the first children's group to be targeted toward preschoolers made them stand out to the genre, nowadays with Imagination movers Hi-5 and hip hop harry being the imitators, the Wiggles may not be that new to modern audience.

* ShallowParody: The band received one in an episode of ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'' in the form of [[https://youtu.be/d8oTFPu103M "The Turtlenecks"]]. They wear the same colours as the Wiggles and the yellow one is basically Greg with a mustache.

* StuckInTheirShadow: Emma, Lachy and Simon are still far less popular than Greg, Jeff and Murray, respectively, with many fans still overlooking them. The original lineup having several high profile reunions in recent years, essentially pushing them to the background in the process won't have helped.

* ValuesDissonance: When the band recorded their cover of "Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport" with Rolf Harris, he was still a well respected entertainer and artist and was considered a national treasure in both the UK and Australia (he holds citizenship in both countries). Following his conviction for indecent assault in 2014, the band could no longer acknowledge their work with him as it would definitely be considered poor taste.
** "Okki Tokki Unga" can be this to Canadian viewers, ''especially'' if it's introduced as an "Eskimo" song.[[note]]"Eskimo" is, at absolute best, considered an antiquated term for the Inuit and Yupik peoples, and it's generally considered an outright racial slur.[[/note]] The band no longer introduces it as such, instead referring to it as an "Inuit fishing song".

* JustHereForGodzilla: People usually only go to check out The Soul Movers' music because Murray happens to be their lead guitarist. The video for [[https://youtu.be/vIoVwwj-xns "Circles Baby"]] pretty much acknowledges this by having the rest of the original Wiggles lineup featured in it.

** The original lineup (minus Murray) got together yet again in September 2020 to perform a special live-streamed concert in aid of Heart of the Neighbourhood, an organisation that raises awareness for CPR. Seeing Greg onstage and performing again after his cardiac arrest in January of the same year is definitely awesome.

* HilariousInHindsight: In ''Whoo Hoo! Wiggly Gremlins,'' Anthony absentmindedly tells one of the gremlins what to watch out for in the gremlins. When Murray asks Anthony who he's talking to, Anthony replies, "Well, I'm talking to Murray!" before realizing his mistake. The gremlin he was talking to was played by Simon Pryce, who would become the Red Wiggle ten years later.

** Lachy took paternity leave from the band after the birth of his twin daughters in September 2020. Who came to fill in for him while he was gone? None other than the original Purple Wiggle himself, Jeff.

* ArchivePanic: As of June 2020, the band has released ''55 studio albums!'' And considering how frequently they release new recordings, they may very well be one of the most difficult bands (or recording artists in general) to keep track of.

* PeripheryDemographic: The band seems to avoid being grating to everyone but kids by having enough talent and good songs that parents and siblings don't mind being dragged along their concerts. That and they're damn catchy.
