Borderline character bashing

* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Viewers are supposed to feel bad for Lisa after she realizes that [[BrokenPedestal Marge cheated in the Bake-Off]], however Lisa herself [[DoubleStandard saw how the other contestants were trying to blatantly sabotage Marge throught the whole contest]], with one of the contestants burning her mother's entry to a crisp ''right in front of her'', but she never calls them out for what they tried to do. The instant Marge cheats in the contest though, [[MoralMyopia Lisa tells her to tell the truth and apologize]]. Crossed over with FridgeBrilliance and even AlternativeCharacterInterpretation, one could wonder if she had an undisclosed personal grudge against the company and didn't want her mom to work for them as a result, or possibly that she was worried she'd spend less time with her as a result.

* BrokenAesop: The moral of the story is summed up as "don't cheat", but it falls apart because a) Marge only cheated because of the horrible way all the other contestants were treating her, with one of them ''destroying her meal and mocking her over it'', and not because she was insecure about her cooking abilities or something similar, and b) Lisa is appalled when she learns that Marge had cheated in the contest, but not only did she not call out the contestants who were blatantly trying to sabotage Marge, she didn't do anything to stop them ''even though she witnessed their behaviour first handedly''. All of this makes Marge look like she has an actual reason for cheating, and also makes Lisa comes off as a huge {{Hypocrite}}.

* CatharsisFactor: Regardless of whether you think she is the wrong for cheating or not, it is ''incredibly'' satisfying to see Marge getting back at the other contestants [[KickTheDog that tried to sabotage her entry]] by [[LaserGuidedKarma giving them a taste of their own medicine]].

* UnintentionallySympathetic: Marge is supposedly in the wrong for cheating, but the other contestants were bullies who outright sabotaged her dish in the first place. It was never a fair contest to begin with and it's easy to see the sabotaged contestants as getting their comeuppance.
