* IKnewIt: [[spoiler:The fact that Adam is gay was a pretty widespread fandom theory, and is confirmed early in season 2.]]

Requires Word Of God confirmation

* AuthorsSavingThrow: A common criticism of Season 1 was the lack of backstories for the characters and their world after the reveal [[spoiler: that they were participants in a video game and are a pro-gaming team in real life.]] The first few episodes of Season 2 address this by having part of the season take place in a simulation of the characters' hometown.
** Another, smaller saving throw: Mira apologizes profusely to Adam for kissing him without asking and it's made very clear that she ''never'' would have done so if it hadn't been for AmnesiacDissonance.
** Season 2 fully does away with the [[spoiler:MediumBlending]] that was poorly received in season one. The story takes place entirely on the digital world, and the ending implies they are completely done with dealing with the real world.

Uncanny Valley is IUEO now and the subjective version has been split; cleaning up misuse and ZCE in the process

* UncannyValley: The new antagonistic team for Season 2 composed of Nisha, Tyler, and Iris look very realistic and highly detailed which makes them look like they came from a very different show. ''Especially'' Iris, whose head resembles an Easter Island statue.

Misuse. Does not mention audience avoiding work.

* EndingAversion: TheReveal in Season One that [[spoiler:it's a video game and the shift to live-action]] all combine to make a polarizing finale. Some fans enjoy the surprising nature of the game show twist and like how it was foreshadowed early on, while others feel that the twists were poor answers for the central mystery and form more plotholes than anything else. The following season's twist, which builds off this reveal, was generally more well-received.
