* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: The much anticipated "Flashpoint" world is over in a mere ''one'' episode. Exactly how Barry's meddling in time caused Cisco to take Wells place as a tech guru, Caitlin end up an eye doctor, and Joe to be a miserable drunk who hates his job go unexplained, not to mention any effects it would have in Star City and Team Arrow. This is likely due to not wanting to saddle the ''Arrow'' and ''Legends of Tomorrow'' (and possibly ''Supergirl'') teams with having to incorporate it on top of all the big stuff they already have going on.
* WhatAnIdiot:
** Barry tells Wally about a flanking strategy to use against the Rival, and then...they don't do it. No explanation, they just completely forget about the perfectly good tactic they were discussing just seconds ago, making you wonder why the conversation was even put in the script.
** This mainly applies to Wally being an arrogant Dumbass, thinking he can beat the Rival on his own and getting ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice when his back is turned.

%% InformedWrongness: Barry is called out several times by Thawne for creating Flashpoint timeline and in the end he's ready to let his parents die to cancel it. But from what was shown in the episode the Flashpoint timeline doesn't seem like a bad place to live; the only problem was the Rival, who is dead by the end of the episode, unless you count Joe's alcoholism. Other changes like Cisco becoming a billionaire, Wally becoming Kid Flash, and Barry's parents still being alive were actually for the ''better'', making you wonder how exactly creating Flashpoint was a bad thing. A JustifiedTrope, since this ''is'' [[ItsAllAboutMe Thawne]], but it would have been nice if Barry challenged him on that point.

Joe drinking okay, but Wally getting impaled wasn't really result of the Flashpoint, rather the What An Idiot entry below.

Natter. If you disagree there is discussion. For now i'll only say that two out of four of NJBIH entries were result of CANCELLING Flashpoint, one(Wally having incoplete speedster powerset) is hardly anything broken, and Joe being drunk is hardly ruined timeline compared to at least two deaths.

** On the other hand, see the entries under NiceJobBreakingItHero. Whetther the Flashpoint timeline was a good thing or not really depends on one's point of view.
