I'm weird, I know lol. I also tried using a more fitting trope (though it personally didn't have that effect for me).

* AccidentalInnuendo: "I got some big candies.".

** The people in the strange house allowing Gretel to join their "dance".
* {{Narm}}: In the ''You're Still Alive?'' ending, when Gretel notices Hansel has witnessed her betrayal, she looks right at him. And then gives a LaughablyEvil snicker. It dampens the creepiness-factor a little.

* TheWoobie: Hansel. He just wanted to protect his sister, but the world at large seems determined to not give him a happy ending. In the majority of endings he finds himself DyingAlone and abandoned with the knowledge that his parents hated him and his sister enough to just leave them to starve in the woods. In one ending, it turns out the sister he did so much for never loved him and was in cahoots with his AbusiveParents from the beginning on. And in the ''A Happy Tales'' ending, he ends up a prisoner of his insane sister, with her outright stating that she'll make him into her SexSlave.

* TooBleakStoppedCaring: The game's story is incredibly dark and hopeless and unlike its predecessor it doesn't even have one good ending. All the endings are [[DownerEnding Downer Endings]] that have Hansel and Gretel either killed or trapped in extremely unpleasant situations. It makes the game somewhat hard to really enjoy, if you're not the kind of person who is into grimdark.

** Gretel's continued romantic advances towards Hansel. Even worse in the Bad End, where she actually gets to act on her incestuous delusions.
** The orgy in the woods that seemingly has no trouble letting ''children'' join in.
