His moment of note is him crying and almost breaking down when he discovers his wife's infidelity, babbling almost like a child. This would make him an interesting foil to Louis; both are somewhat immature, but while Louis's immaturity takes the form of petulant anger, Charles is more pitiable and sympathetic, almost innocent in juxtaposition to the scheming going on around him. He was also the LastOfHisKind, the last Capet king of France, which also has potential for drama.
