* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: As described in the PlotHole in the recap page, the Titans never seem to be worried about their security being compromised considering how Red X managed to break in and steal the suit. If the Titans had a bit more common sense, their security being compromised could've led to a story arc where they're reluctant to trust others after Red X got the jump on them.

* MagnificentBastard: Red X is a self-proclaimed thief who steals Robin's selfsame suit, then tracks down a Xenothium scanner even with the Titans hot on his trail. Cornered, X uses his knowledge of his surroundings and mastery of gadgetry, taking on the team one-by-one while he makes his way to the Xenothium Ore vault to recharge his suit and uses Robin as a decoy to slip by the security drone. Teaming up with Robin to stop the treacherous Professor Chang, X not only saves Robin but also gracefully accepts defeat when Robin reveals he stole X's utility belt. In "Revved Up", X races against Robin and many of his enemies, demonstrating his skill on a motorbike and when saved by Robin from an explosion repays the debt by dismantling all of the villainous racers in under a minute. Stylish and roguish yet noble, Red X cements himself as a memorable character that's neither a villain nor hero--just as he'd like.

I just realized that this worked better as a Plot Hole.

* : The Titans decide not to pursue investigating Red X's identity further, with Raven summing him up, as she put it, "anyone smart enough to find the suit and dumb enough to take it for a joyride". Likewise, Robin dismisses X's identity as irrelevant, citing that regardless of who's inside the suit, they're his responsibility. However, the Titans are ignoring several critical factors:
** 1. Whoever stole the suit knew the layout of the Tower. They also knew how to get past the Tower's security systems.
** 2. The thief had to have brought heavy equipment with them, as the vault door was ripped completely off the hinges.
** Point being, the Titans being worried about their security being compromised could've made an excellent story arc.

* WhatAnIdiot / IdiotPlot: At one point Dr. Chang has both Robin and Red X knocked out and has captured all the other Titans. [[SarcasmMode So clearly the logical course of action is to simply put a TV in front of Robin revealing your evil plan, gloat about how smart you are for pitting Red X and Robin against each other while you grab all the goodies, give them time to recover and plot how to take you down, and hold his superpowered friends in comfortable, easy-to-break glass cells very close to you.]] Basically the second half of the episode happens because Dr. Chang suddenly goes from brilliant chessmaster to a logic-immune idiot who leaves his enemies alive and free for no good reason. Seriously, it would be fine if he captured Robin and Red X and restrained them to show them how he destroyed the city with the weapon they inadvertently helped him create, but no, he just leaves them there. He doesn't even change his address, even though he clearly knows Robin can find him. Considering that, had they done that, they could have shown Robin and/or Red X cutting their restraints and then fighting Chang, which is a standard, well-known, borderline-overused cliché in hero stories, the actual script is just incredibly poor writing. Also counts as WhyDontYouJustShootHim.

After stealing the selfsame suit ComicBook/Robin used to don under his nose, Red X tracks down a Xenothium scanner with the Titans hot on his trail in his first appearance. When cornered, Red X displays quick-wittedness, keen awareness of his surroundings, and mastery of his gadgetry. On the way to the Xenothium Ore vault to repower his suit, he takes down the Titans one-by-one, quickly and efficiently, including using Robin as a decoy for the security done while he slips by unscathed. When Professor Chang reveals his hand, Red X appears in the episode's climax to save and team up with Robin, getting back at Chang by personally destroying his disintegrator ray. When Robin reveals he stole his utility belt in the crossfire, Red X takes defeat with grace and retreats.
