* MoralEventHorizon: The CEO was a bothersome rival to the gang, but he becomes irredeemable in "Space Rescue," where he sends Tom into the sun on a rocket he tricked Tom into going into to be killed. Bonus points for flying over just to watch it live.

* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: In "Roy to the Rescue," was Tom right when he said that Roy sabotaged his hot air balloon just so Roy could be credited for saving his life, or was it just a coincidence his balloon failed and Roy simply saved him? Roy did say that he believed a party will be thrown for him as he rescued Tom, adding more interpretation.

Added DiffLines:

* InformedWrongness: Rhonda is meant to be seen as wrong for being a BadBoss towards Hank, despite the fact that Hank willingly decided to eat a special sundae knowing full well that he'd have to work to pay it off if he didn't fully eat the sundae. To add on to this, Hank successfully quits his job and never has to pay the $500 for his sundae.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: Fans say that Becca was a victim of this. She was given high publicity in the promos and people thought that she'd play a big role in Season 4, but she had 2 appearances and wasn't given enough focus. This was fixed in season 5

* UnintentionallySympathetic: In "Tom the Brave," Tom has Hank hypnotized him into showing zero fear at dangerous situations. This leads to him sliding down a really high slide on a skateboard and landing him in a hospital, to which his friends fake his funeral just to get him to be normally afraid again. Nevermind the fact that he was hypnotized into doing those things and had no control of his actions. Technically, his friends gaslighted him into thinking that he's dead just to teach him a lesson. The fact that Dr. Internet Doctor goes along with it makes this unsettling.

** Surpisingly, Ginger in "Assertive App." Sure he uses the app to tell others what to do and acts like a control freak, but Ben and Tom did the same to others, including him. Ginger even lampshaded it. [[ProtagonistCenteredMorality So it's wrong for Ginger to use the app just to get back at Ben and Tom, but it's all in good fun when the duo does so?]]

** Ben will always be shown in this light. The gang acts like he's completely boring and a total {{killjoy}}, but he's just trying to do good.

* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Angela in "Boyfriend Stealer." We're supposed to feel sorry for her when she felt like Tom was hanging out with Becca too much and Becca would steal him away. However, even after Tom told her that Becca and him were just friends, Angela acts bratty about it and angrily leaves the house. She spent the whole episode trying to make him jealous by asking the MC to be her date and the party is ruined as a result. What's worse is that everyone knew that Becca wasn't trying to steal Tom away from Angela.
