* CriticalBacklash: Upon its reveal, many fans of the franchise decried the series for the different direction it took compared to prior series, with the modern day setting, drastically changed personalities and designs, and the short length of the episodes. However, some fans who checked the show out feel the outrage is overblown and ignores the good qualities of the series, such as the diverse cast, greater focus on character interaction and growth, lack of {{Padding}} in episodes to extend conflicts, and allowing Strawberry to have flaws rather than just being the OnlySaneWoman[=/=]TeamMom like her prior incarnations.

Many online posts about Berry in the Big City will likely feature him to some capacity.

* ChannelHop: In Asia, the 2003 series actually moved to Boomerang after Creator/{{Hasbro}} took back the master rights of the franchise from Creator/PlaymatesToys, due to Hasbro's meddling (Prior to this, the show aired on Playhouse Disney Asia, and before Playhouse Disney Asia was launched, Disney Asia as part of the Playhouse Disney slot). This actually resulted in tons of inconvenience and made the show unavailable to Malaysia and other countries that do not have access to Boomerang, since Season 4 was never released on home video in Malaysia (and it's probably safe to assume the same, if not the entire series, in other countries).

[=PB&J Otter=] itself is a show that had already been cancelled long before the SSC relaunch. Even after the fact was royally {{jossed}} with Disney Asia airing the remaining episodes and every single episode coming out on DVD (and later on, ''Creator/DisneyPlus''), some of the fandom still chose to believe it was.
