Not a strawman. Both Rom and Quark are never portrayed as being wrong that Ishka's behavior, however just or unjust, can have serious ramifications.
Changed line(s) 3,4 (click to see context) from:
** In the hypercapitalist Ferengi society, Quark has to pay latinum to find out what he's being charged with, to use an elevator, and just to sit down in a waiting room. By the 2010s, many mobile games utilize microtransactions that require small but repeat payments for various features.
* StrawmanHasAPoint: Quark (and the Ferengi as a whole) are definitely in the wrong with their misogynistic views on women. However, Quark points out that if his mother is found guilty of earning profit and refuses to sign the confession, she'll be forced into "indentured servitude" (read: slavery), Quark will be expected to pay off her debts, and it will tarnish their family's reputation and make it difficult for any of them to do business again. This is before Quark discovers the full extent of Ishka's profits, which apparently is so high that he couldn't come close to it even if he sold everything he owned. And as Rom point out in his WhatTheHellHero moment to both of them, if Quark can track down her business transactions, the FCA can, and then they'll seize all her profits anyway. Quark may be a {{Jerkass}}, but he's not entirely in the wrong; this is a scandal that could ruin all their lives if Ishka doesn't cooperate.
