Trope was cut/disambiguated due to cleanup

* OnceOriginalNowCommon: This show was unlike ''anything'' else on the air in 1994 and only got more "out there" as the series progressed. Now almost the entire Adult Swim lineup and cartoons like ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'' have taken some cues from ''Space Ghost Coast to Coast'' and it's more difficult to see what made it so special.

** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmqsjlXxmEE This hilarious season 5 promo]] has Space Ghost yelling at some executives over having his show’s timeslot after ''[[WesternAnimation/PoundPuppies1980s Pound Puppies]]''. Nowadays, he is no longer in any position to do such a thing, since Adult Swim's Senior Vice President Mike Lazzo apparently considers him and the show to be an OldShame.

"Idiot Plot" is now Flame Bait.

* IdiotPlot: Most of the episodes are usually driven by Space Ghost's stupidity. [[Administrivia/TropesAreTools Not that it stops them from being funny]].

* FanPreferredCutContent: What was intended as the ColdOpen to the "Baffler Meal" was merely a deleted scene in the Season 2 DVD of ''WesternAnimation/AquaTeenHungerForce''. Viewers can't understand why it was deleted, given the big part the colonial man working at Burger Trench plays in it.

** "Sharrock" (titled after and dedicated to Sonny Sharrock, who composed the opening, closing and some incidental music). The song that sounds near the ending of the episode (the "Ghost Planet Anthem") was recorded on one of his final jam sessions before passing away. Even the end credit logos are [[MomentOfSilence silent]].
** Birdman. When he tries to run the show, on two occasions, he's portrayed as a very broken man who receives NoSympathy from anyone and breaks down from the pressure of failing.
** Brak's heartbroken reaction to seeing Space Ghost jealously react to his spin-off's success by deriding him and declaring him a talentless hack to Jack Black in ''Sweet for Brak''.
** Some of Space Ghost's dialogue in "Terminal" veers into this, especially his opening speech to Zorak and Moltar.
---> '''Space Ghost''': Will you listen especially close? I know you like me. I know it. For the last two years you've been pretending like you hate me. I love you very much. I love you as much as I love anybody. I, I love you as much as I love myself. In a few years when I haven't been around to be on your tail about something or irritating you, you're gonna remember. You're gonna remember the time I bought you the baseball glove, when you thought we were too broke. Or when I read you stories. When I let you goof off instead of mowing the lawn. Lots of things like that. And you're gonna realize that you loved me, and maybe you'll feel bad because you never told me. I know that you love me.
** On September 18th 2016, C. Martin Croker (Zorak & Moltar) passed away. That was sad enough, but then Adult Swim [[https://i.cdn.turner.com/adultswim/big/img/2016/09/19/sg.jpg posted this image]]. Poor Space Ghost...

Removing this, apparently this is pre-Space Ghost, didn't know this before I added this.

** The episode "Boo Boo Kitty" has Zorak demanding a "milk and Pepsi", years before the creation of the "Pilk" meme.

He then goes on about how freaky-looking they both are. In 2004, Mary Kate entered rehab for anorexia.

There has to be a stronger connection between the actor's death and the character's death, like dying of the same cause, for it to be a valid example of Harsher In Hindsight.

** Following C. Martin Croker's passing, the scene in "Flipmode" where Space Ghost thinks Zorak has been killed by a blow to the head can seem a little awkward. Ditto for "Edelweiss", with Zorak seemingly getting obliterated for good and Moltar singing a mournful German song in his memory.
