** "Look at Me" was also a commonly misnamed track on [=P2P=] networks, it was actually "Lookaway" by Sepultura.Music/{{Sepultura}}. This became HilariousInHindsight when Eloy Casagrande, Sepultra's former drummer, joined Slipknot as Jay Weinberg's replacement.

** There's also a recent debate over whether or not Jay Weinberg's dismissal from the band and replacing him with Eloy Casagrande was a good move. Some fans were huge on Jay's theatrics and thought he was axed just as he was genuinely beginning to fill Joey Jordison's shoes, while others think he wasn't that good and already consider Eloy a suitable replacement. A third camp also likes them both, feeling sorry for Jay but also feeling like Eloy has already brought some of Slipknot's energy back into their live shows.

* FandomEnragingMisconception: Referring to Slipknot as "death metal" is a good way to get a fan pissed at you.

Juggalo TRS cleanup, now a Useful Notes page.

** {{Juggalo}}s and Maggots are also rivals somewhat, even though Slipknot's members are Juggalos. Music/InsaneClownPosse and Slipknot are actually mutual admirers, although ICP is not fond of Slipknot's decision to call their fans "maggots".

** Overall, there's a four-way split between "Wait and Bleed", "Psychosocial", "Duality", and "Before I Forget" that really depends on who you ask.

* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: "Dead Memories" and "Vermillion" are amazing ballads that showed that the band was capable of more than just mosh anthems or aggressive nu-metal.

Face Of The Band disambig'd per TRS. Don't link it anywhere.

* FaceOfTheBand: Corey and Clown, although it's sort of {{iron|y}}ic given their schtick. Corey, in addition to being the lead singer, has [[Music/StoneSour another band]] and [[WolverinePublicity a lot of guest appearances]] on other bands' songs. Clown is the only original member left and is pretty much the band's creative director.
