* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: The introduction to season two starts by showing the events of the season two ''finale'', with Anne ruling Newtopia and Sasha once again about to die while Marcy keeps her upright. At which point the scene freezes and present-day Sasha interrupts ala ''WesternAnimation/TheEmperorsNewGroove'' to apologize for the confusion and promises to explain HowWeGotHere... which she first does by humorously recapping the entirety of Season 1, before starting the chapter proper.

Moral Event Horizon is for when a character commits an act so heinous that it marks them as irredeemable, out-of-universe as much as In Universe. Anne killing Sasha most definitely does not count, since the story makes it clear that it was a complete accident on her part even if the circumstances leading up to it were reckless and that she's completely horrified, if the author literally spelling out their intentions in the Author's Notes weren't obvious enough. This seems to be an editor either confusing MEH with Jumping Off The Slippery Slope or just an editor giving Anne Ron The Death Eater treatment

* MoralEventHorizon: [[spoiler:Anne crosses it in the season 1 finale wherein her Calamity-powered state, she punched Sasha ''dead center in the chest'' into a wall, instantly killing her. She's lucky Sasha's own Calamity powers activates and brought her back to life.]]

Technically it's more Jumping The Slippery Slope

* MoralEventHorizon: Anne is teetering on crossing this line after she GrewASpine. After she had her discussion with Grime during her training, her reunion with Sasha could be a bloody one.

* AngstWhatAngst: Discussed. Unlike Sasha, who has issues with parental neglect, Polly doesn't mind not having parents. She was too young to remember them and thus, lacks the emotional connection most would have. She's cool with it.

* MorePopularReplacement: Sasha is well loved in the original series yet this fanfiction shows how popular Sasha is as the main protagonist.
* MorePopularSpinoff: A fanfic variation. While the canon show is beloved for it's light-hearted elements, this fanfic has more fans due to how the author tackles the realistic side of Amphibia in his own way.

** In Chapter 2, when Sasha confessed to Sprig about abandoning him while they were both in the River Monster's stomach. Did Sprig genuinely didn't believe Sasha's lie or knows that she's lying but ignores her confession because he sees the good buried deep down inside her?

* RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap: A variation. Most of the characters here are given more depths that shows the realistic outcome of the story. Especially for Sasha since she is more likeable, friendlier, and sympathetic enough for the fans who hates her manipulative behavior.

** Sasha; being flung into an alternate realm and separated from her friends is just the start. Upon meeting the Plantars, the guilt of her toxic and manipulative actions slowly eat up at her until she has an epiphany and vows to make amends for her mistakes. She is even shunned by the people of Wartwood after a scheme to earn more money went wrong and was treated more of a Pariah. She makes mistakes and while some are well deserved, the lessons she takes are bitter pills for her to swallow if she wants to make herself a better person and continue the road to atonement.
** Anne probably got it even worse than her friend Sasha. Unlike Sasha, she landed in Toad Tower, taken prisoner by the Toad troops there and treated like an animal[=/=]prisoner at first. By Chapter 15, her optimism and innocence is slowly being destroyed when she and Grime has a discussion about Sasha, and upon catching on to how much of a toxic friend Sasha is, Anne begins to resent Sasha for placing herself, Sasha and Marcy in this predicament. All this occurred on her birthday no less.

* SugarWiki/AwesomeMoments:
** Chapter 2: Sprig using pain peppers to escape from the lake monster's stomach counts.
** Chapter 5: Sasha and the Plantars fighting the tomato plant.
** Chapter 8: Hop Pop single-handedly rescues Bessie the snail from a rich SpoiledBrat.
** Chapter 9: Anne flat out telling the toads that despite her fear of being in Amphibia, she still pushes on and tries to help defend Toad Tower. She gets another moment where she held the Queen ant's mandibles with her bare hands.
** Chapter 14: Sasha defeated the frogs who kidnap her even showing her skills as a capable fighter.
** Chapter 15: Anne unlocking her abilities when training and cutting the dummy in half counts. Also crosses as TearJerker as her innocence is sacrificed to unlock it.
* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments: Despite how realistic the story is with the outcomes and results, the story does show how heartwarming it can be:
** In Chapter 2, despite Sasha telling Sprig the truth about abandoning him if the roles are reversed, Sprig flat out disagrees and believes that Sasha is lying. This shows that despite the moment, Sprig genuinely believes that there is good in Sasha and this is the catalyst that gives Sasha hope to change for the better. What follows afterwards is the two sharing a laugh after escaping the monster.
** In Chapter 3: Sasha is incredibly touched when Sprig declares to her that he's her new BFF even messing with him for a while.
--> '''Sasha:''' (laughing) "Haha, you definitely are!."
** In Chapter 5: Sasha went to stay with the Plantars in the shame cage which solidifies her relationship with the family.
** In Chapter 8: Sasha becomes touched on how Hop Pop risked his life to save Bessie and the other animals even cuddling Bessie who wants Sasha to read her story.
** In Chapter 11: Sasha becomes an honorary Plantar and seems to be touched with her Plantar name as "Sasha Waybright Plantar".
** In Chapter 12: Sprig finally adds Sasha into the family which really drove her to shed some TearsOfJoy.
** In Chapter 14: Sasha does everything she can to protect Polly like an actual big sister and while she does take it too far, Polly appreciates her gestures even comforting her once the truth is cleared.
** Chapter 16: Sprig, Maddie, and Ivy become friends together as they become a trio by the end of the story.
** Chapter 17: When Hop Pop tries to run for mayor, Sasha does everything she can to ensure that Hop Pop would win. She's even touched when Hop Pop even tries to lift the ban on her, and declaring herself as a genuine member of the Plantar family.
---> '''Sasha:''' "Okay, no one is dying on my watch. Hop Pop, you and I are going to be training until you're in tip-top shape. Or my name isn't Sasha Waybright Plantar!"
*** In the same chapter, she also rescued Mayor Toadstool since she clearly doesn't anyone to die in the race as this act alone will push the mayor to do the right thing someday.
** In Chapter 18: Sasha reignited Stumpy's passion in cooking due to her involvement in improvising his cooking in the kitchen. Along with this, the customers slowly grows accepting to Sasha who lends a hand in serving their food.
** Chapter 19: Sasha is finally accepted by the townsfolk after defending her surrogate family and the entire village from the tax collectors even injuring her leg in the process to prove herself.
** Chapter 21: Sprig gave Sasha a cake to celebrate Sasha Day, and while Sasha initially laughed it off, she becomes touched by his gesture and have the entire family to eat it together. In addition, some would interpret that Sasha Day is basically Sasha's Birthday.
** Chapter 23: Sasha spends a total of 5 days trying to protect the entire village during the long winter and once everyone thaws back to normal, they all expressed some gratitude for her devotion.

* TearJerker: Quite a few moments can tug at the heart strings:
** Chapter 2: Shows Sasha crying while inside the gut of the beast after being eaten, she is ashamed of her own actions as this is the first step of her HeelRealization.
** Chapter 3: Goes into full swing on Sasha finally having an epiphany and begins to accept responsibility for the events that led to her friends and herself being transported into Amphibia.
** Chapter 8: A brief one, upon reading Hop Pop's history with Bessie she ponders on whether or not if she would do the same and risk her life to rescue her friends.
** Chapter 10: This shows Sasha doesn't really grasp the concept of what true friendship is as she fails to see how Sprig is not exactly happy with how Sasha is acting as his roommate. Thankfully, she and Sprig reconcile in the end.
** Chapter 13: This chapter really highlights Sasha's HeelRealization on her manipulative nature, upon breaking her promise to not lie to Hop-Pop and causing the town to flat out throw rotten tomatoes and mud at her (after she planned a scheme to get more money backfired). On the trip back home, she broke down in tears upon self reflecting.
** Chapter 15: When Anne is training with a practice dummy. She and Grime talked about Sasha and how Sasha's actions got Anne and her friends caught up in this mess. As Grime told Anne the true nature of what Sasha's actions and using Anne as a tool instead of a friend. Anne rethinks about her past friendship with Sasha and rants as she gets more aggressive until she split the practice target in 2, all while crying and venting out her long suppressed resentment on Sasha. Anne is also unaware that Sasha is slowly changing for the better, meaning that their duel is going to be an inevitable and sorrowful one.
** Chapter 19: It turns out that Sasha's action from Chapter 13 has a devastating effect to a villager, who was attacked in the wilderness due to her manipulation. What's worse is that her son is angry at Sasha and callously rejected her apology even demanding her to leave.

YMMV can't be played with

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: Subverted; the author addresses some issues regarding the series and incorporates it into the story. This is best shown in Chapter 16 where Maddie becomes friends with Sprig and Ivy which gives fans some hopes that Sprig and Maddie would pursue a relationship here since she's considered more interesting than Ivy.
