** Gruesome depiction of the victims injuries, to showcase the horrors rescue workers have to live with in their jobs.
** The monsters' design and what they do to people. Special mention goes to the Tree Monster from episode 3 and the Spider Monster from episode 18.
** Very mature themes and plots. Ranging from a kid surviving while lost in a mountain to ragaining power after being crippled.
** And Grandienne, aka the bitchiest big bad on Sentai ever. See CompleteMonster for detail.

* CompleteMonster: Grand Witch Grandienne, who deliberately sent her children out to die, brainwashed one to kill another on several occasions, banished one to Hell, and resurrected two of them as brainwashed zombies. As fitting of the family theme in [=GoGoFive=], Grandienne stands for everything the Tatsumi family bond [[EvilMatriarch isn't]]. She has to be killed multiple times; apparently, just one KarmicDeath was too kind for this monster.

* JerkassWoobie: [[spoiler: Zylpheeza is a villainous example. He may a horrible demon, but at the same time he watches his younger sister give her life to revive him, against his will, and has to watch his younger brother die after being forced shoot him by his own mother.]]

* CompleteMonster: Grand Witch Grandienne, who deliberately sent her children out to die, brainwashed one to kill another on several occasions, banished one to Hell, and resurrected two of them as brainwashed zombies. As fitting of the family theme in [=GoGoFive=], Grandienne stands for everything the Tatsumi family bond [[EvilMatriarch isn't]]. * AlasPoorVillain: [[spoiler: Despite them demons bent on killing us, it's hard too feel sad for the Samia children, except for Salamandas, when they die.]]

** During the movie crossover with the Timerangers, the crowning of moment of awesome was made when the professor tells Go Red to call the Victory Robo. The awesome part comes when the Victory Robo shows up... from [[PortaltothePast 1999]]! Of course since this is them just borrowing the Victory Robo from that time, they have to return it so in the end it is still destroyed. But for the time being it can exist in the present for about 3 minutes or else the temporal shift will cause the world to collapse.

* FridgeBrilliance: Don't those visor designs on [=GoGo-V=]'s helmets look kinda random? Actually, no; the shapes are designed after - or rather, taken directly from - the crests of the respective rescue divisions each sibling worked in before quitting for full-time activity at Super Rescue Labs. Sure enough, they still pretty much take the same roles as [=GoGo-V=].
** Y'know those giant explosions that always accompany a giant monster/robot battle? The Max Victory Robo is built to use them. Think about it. If there's ever a colossal fire anywhere, all [=GoGoFive=] needs to do to save thousands of lives is take a walk in the Max Victory Robo.
