* In the series, there are two instances where someone makes an alternate suggestion in response to someone's witch: Jyubey saying Michiru could wish away her comatose grandmother's illness when she wishes for her to simply wake up and Michiru asking why Kaoru doesnt heal her own injury when the latter wishes to hurt the people hurt in her soccer match. In Michiru’s case, she replies that healed her grandmother would go against her grandmother’s beliefs while Kaoru expresses confidence that she’ll eventually go back to playing soccer. Despite this, both girls are later shown to have no regrets and the next panel shows her with her leg healed. In a way Michiru and Kaoru’s wishes could be considered an inverse of Kyoko and Mami from the Madoka series. Kyoko wishing for people to follow her dad essentially brainwashing them when her father wanted people to listen b/c they truly believed and out of their own free will. Mami wishing for herself not to die while neglecting her parents who were already dead but could’ve been saved if she’d wished it too. Fringe Horror comes when you remember that Kyoko’s dad went crazy when he discovered his daughter’s wish which he considered witchcraft and perverting his beliefs and killed himself and the rest of the family afterwards while Mami would suffer Survivor’s guilt from outliving her parents and realizing she could’ve saved them if she had thought about them and not herself. Now consider what would’ve happened if Michiru and/or Kaoru had taken up the alternative suggestions only to regret it afterwards

* The forming of the Pleides Saints is notably the only time we see a mass contract in the Madoka franchise. Why is this important? Its been shown that the Incubators m.o. is to offer a girl a contract when they are at their lowest emotional point and alone, thereby making them easier to manipulate and ensuing they make short sighted wishes. The Pleides, on the other hand had already gone past the DespairEventHorizon and were more emotionally stable and other people for support when they made their contracts which is why they were clear headed and savvy enough to make wishes that help them with their goals instead of asking for a direct result, allowing them to go on without regrets. [[spoiler: The one Pleaides Saint whose wish would bite her back was Nico who kept hers a secret rather than share it with the others; if she had, the others could've told her why it was a bad idea and discouraged her.]]

* FridgeLogic: How did Yuuri and Souichirou not feel any weight differences between trunks upon bumping into eachother? Clearly, that bomb must've been considerably lighter than Kazumi, or else Kaoru wouldn't have been able to kick it so damn high in the air.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: The Souju sisters. Unlike the other villains, we never learn their backstory or motivation. What did they wish for? Do they collect soul gems for any particular reason, or are they just AxeCrazy? Just ''who are they?'' They are set up as a real anomaly, being both insane and predatory... then they're defeated and Niko's death ensures that they're promptly forgotten by the plot.
