* UncannyValley: [[spoiler:Some think Falulu became ''creepier'' looking when she became a "real girl"]].

* BizarroEpisode: Episode 56 mostly goes against the typical flow of the series. Celebrity 4, a group of sexy, adult idols look incredibly out of place among the cuter character designs. They end up chasing the other characters in a weird pedal-controlled car through a forest and eventually force them to scale a cliff and essentially fight for their lives over a river that leads into a waterfall (which is apparently connected to the fountain at the heart of [=PriPara=]). Essentially, the entire point of this weird sequence of events seemed to have been to create an excuse for Mirei and Sophie to allow Laala to form a team with Dressing Pafe and Fuwari in order to participate in the Summer Grand Pri event.

* CounterpartComparison: A lot with Aikatsu. Both shows focus on fashion, idol activities, and [=CGI=]s. In ''[[VideoGame/PriPara PriPara]]'''s case, it uses tickets instead of cards.

* GeniusBonus: '''Do'''rothy, '''Le'''ona, '''Mi'''rei, '''Sophie''', '''La'''la, and '''Shi'''on (do, re, mi, so, la, ti respectively) are all notes from the Solfège scale.

* FashionVictimVillain: Gloria. A gigantic drill hair and a vacuum gun can really make you one.

* WhatAnIdiot: Any student who keeps bringing their [=PriTickets=] in a ''clear [=PriTicket=]-forbidden school''.

* VisualEffectsOfAwesome: Not surprising since this is a successor to the ''PrettyRhythm'' series. Its CGI is often compared to that of ''{{VideoGame/Aikatsu}}''.

* BaseBreaker: Gloria. Some like the idea of a little girls' idol anime having an antagonist, others consider her pointless and only there to provide cheap conflict.

* UnfortunateImplication: Considering her age and her rather questionable [=PriTicket=]-hunting tactics, Gloria can be seen as either a MemeticMolester candidate or [[{{lolicon}} someone]] who should ''not'' be in a show targeted for young girls.

* FriendlyFandoms: To ''{{VideoGame/Aikatsu}}'' and, of course, ''PrettyRhythm''.

* VisualEffectsOfAwesome: Not surprising since this is a successor to the ''PrettyRhythm'' series.
