The amount of nods to previous seasons often outweighs any actual explanation for new viewers, not to mention the show’s big last-second twist relies on the target audience knowing the significance of a character from a show that came and went before the target audience was even born. Also, whereas Victor and Monty were always depicted as being entirely self-serving (with the exception of Super Ninja Steel's finale), Ben and Betty are generally portrayed as goofy but well-meaning characters who at least ''try'' to help the Rangers. ** In general, the explosions and weapon firing vfx in US footage is considered so poor that most wish they stuck to Japanese footage.

** Although the fanbase seems very excited for the upcoming adaptation of ''Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters'', [[http://www.thathashtagshow.com/2019/05/17/exclusive-dino-thunder-team-not-to-return-for-power-rangers-beast-morphers-team-up/ reports]] that none of the cast from ''Dino Thunder'' are returning (at least not in person) have left many unhappy - especially among those who believe that the Disney Era is already treated as the black sheep of the franchise.[[note]]This may not necessarily be the show's fault since James Napier (Conner) and Emma Lahana (Kira) reportedly doesn't want to be involved in ''Power Rangers'' anymore . Also, the showrunners reportedly made early efforts to get Kevin Duhaney (Ethan), Jason David Frank (Tommy) and Jeffrey Parazzo (Trent) onboard, but those plans, for whatever reason, fell through. Also not helping the matter is that the movie footage doesn't include the ranger forms of the latter two.[[/note]]

* SpecialEffectsFailure: Roxy's whip wires in the first episode are rather clear and conspicuous CGI, especially coming right after a highly-praised fight using almost entirely practical effects. However, given the unpredictable and potentially ''dangerous'' nature of actual whips, prop or otherwise, this is an understandable sacrifice.

** Even though the dino-themed successor of ''Beast Morphers'' Super Sentai counterpart has already been adapted for ''Power Rangers'', ''Beast Morphers'' will be followed by a series adapted from ''another'' dino-themed series.

** The episode 'Source Code' reveals that [[spoiler: Evox was a spin-off of the Venjix Virus. Evox infiltrates Grid Battleforce, takes the Cell Shift Morpher from the Ranger Vault, and downloads the remainder of Venjix into his body, restoring him 100%]]. The revelation that [[spoiler: Nate was responsible for creating Evox as a young boy (using data from the morpher, serpent DNA, and Morph-X), promots Zoey to contact Doctor K in the RPM dimension and ask her to pay a visit to Nate in the flesh. She does so and together they come up with an Evox anti-virus the Rangers use to destroy Robo-Blaze]].

* StrawmanHasAPoint: In the very first scene, Blaze attacking Devon in karate class is meant to establish Blaze as a {{Jerkass}}, and Ravi and Roxy both admit later they should have stepped in. But the thing is that Devon really ''was'' slacking off in class, and when called on it he made excuses and ended up insulting Blaze in the process. As the teacher, Blaze was well within his rights to discipline him. There's no question that Blaze was completely out of line by starting a brawl, but the show glosses over Devon's part in provoking the fight and treats Blaze as the only one at fault.

* BetterThanCanon: Between the above {{Authors Saving Throw}}s, [[spoiler:an epic three-episode team-up with all the past Dino Ranger teams, the return of one of the greatest villains in the ''Power Rangers'' franchise, and closure to a TheEndOrIsIt ending that fans have all but given up on]], it's safe to say that ''Beast Morphers'' is definitely on-par or even outshines ''Go-Busters''.

* TheyChangedItNowItSucks:
** Some fans are unhappy that the Gold Ranger's animal theme has been changed from a rhino beetle to a praying mantis. Others, however, don't mind the change or defend the change as necessary in order to avoid both the Gold and Silver Rangers having beetle themes. For extra irony, however, scientifically speaking, all rhinoceros beetles that Gold's motif clearly is, and actually was in ''Go-Busters'', is the ''actual'' scarab. Gold's motif could have been simply called a "scarab" to avoid the long name of "rhinoceros beetle". "Stag beetle" is a short enough name to keep as is.
** Downplayed with changing the Silver Ranger's motif from a stag beetle to a scarab. There's been a bit of grumbling, but for the most part, people seem OK with this, since it's at least still a beetle type. The above-mentioned {{irony}} in regards to scientific naming still applies though.

** Similar to the [[spoiler: fan theories that Evox is actually Venjix that were later confirmed]], [[Franchise/UltraSeries Ultraman]] fans made similar theories when Series/UltramanZ was airing that [[spoiler: [[BigGood Captain Hebikura]] was secretly [[Series/UltramanOrb Jugglus Juggler]] [[ActorAllusion since the two were played by the same actor]]. And then Episode 5 confirmed that theory too!]]

* HeReallyCanAct: PR acting is usually decent at best, but ''Beast Morphers'' was the first time in a while where the acting chops were universally praised, with top mentions going to Abraham Rodriguez's performance.

** Scrozzle is also pretty popular, due to his original character design, as well as his snarky, eccentric personality. Many are disappointed that Hasbro doesn't currently have any plans to produce a Scrozzle action figure.

** In the finale, the rangers attack Evox with [[spoiler: Legendary Ranger weapons - the Cloud Hatchet from ''RPM'', Dino Saber from ''Dino charge'', Delta Enforcer from ''SPD'', Thermo Blaster from ''Lightspeed'', and the Ninja Steel Super Blaster (which is particularly unexpected considering it was just a Megazord cockpit weapon in it's own season.]] And near the end we also get a cameo from [[spoiler: Colonel Truman, who's apprehended Scrozzle in his own dimension along with Ben and Betty and returns him to Grid Battleforce custody.]]

* FanficFuel: [[spoiler:The last two episodes have probably brought in a lot of ideas of how the ''RPM'' and ''Beast Morphers'' rangers are going to interact. Also, what type of adventures did Ben and Becky have trying to arrest Scrozzle during the one year TimeSkip]]?
