He is initially set up as a man willing to force a bus full of innocent people into a DeadlyGame where only the winner of a battle royale gets to live, but the players decided that this plan was too disturbing of a MoodWhiplash. He then downgrades it to a winner-take-all battle royale where the winner gets every Pokemon caught in the Safari Zone by the other contestants. (That being said, he still held everyone on the bus hostage and tried to kill Jade and Lavi for refusing to cooperate.)
