* AwesomeArt: While it may not be the greatest Nickelodeon spin off, the animation is much better than the original series.

* JerkassWoobie / UnintentionallySympathetic: Although we're obviously not supposed to root for [[BigBad Dorkus']] attempts to get rid of Sheen, it was only because his house was destroyed by the rocket from which he arrived. Dorkus' belongings may have been destroyed as well, and, as [[TheDragon Pinter]] points out, [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking he just redecorated.]] To rub salt in the wound, Sheen had the gall to say that it was the ''house'' that destroyed "his" rocket. Accident or not, how would you feel if someone did this to you? It sure works to Dorkus's advantage that he's easily one of the least annoying characters in the entire show.

Accident or not, how rocket, and wasn't exactly apologetic about the incident. How would you feel if someone did this to you? It sure works to Dorkus's advantage that he's easily one of the least annoying characters in the entire show.

* BrokenBase: A comic relief from a beloved show is sent to a distant planet. All of the other characters are given one-time mentions at best or are downright ignored at worst. The humor relies much more on dorkiness than clever parody and there is no character development, seriousness or realism. [[SarcasmMode Doesn't that sound like a great way to answer the loyal fans' constant pleading for a continuation of the original show?]]

* {{Tearjerker}}: Just the fact that Sheen is likely stuck on Zeenu forever with no way of getting home is a Fridge Tearjerker. There's also the fact that his father and grandma must be depressed, not to mention that his friends haven't gone to look for him. That is if they knew where the rocket landed.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: See WhatCouldHaveBeen in {{Trivia}}. In short, this series might have stood a better chance at lasting longer if the original idea had not been scrapped. Though, how much different the character's personalities would have been is debatable.
** Some people think this could've been about the whole gang instead of just Sheen.
** There was also supposed to be a TV movie about Jimmy and the gang going to rescue Sheen, but it was cancelled due to low ratings, production costs and several staff members moving on. Seriously, who didn't want to the finale to be a reunion episode? Fans would've loved seeing Carl meet Doppy, Sheen and Nesmith coming back to Retroville and Jimmy and Libby having a little confrontation with Sheen after what he did (lying to his Zeenuian friends, deliberately disobeying Jimmy's specific instructions and pretty much cheating on Libby). Had the series been more successful, this most likely would've happened.

* EnsembleDarkhorse: On a planet full of weirdos ruled by an easily-convinced emperor, an evil ex-advisor, and Sheen [[TookALevelInDumbass becoming dumber than he was in the original show]], Mr. Nesmith is truly a shining gem in this world, being an [[GadgeteerGenius intelligent]] [[OnlySaneMan straight ape]] and all. Same goes for Dorkus and Aseefa.

** The whole cast aside from Nesmith (along with Dorkus and maaaaaybe Aseefa) can be easily despised.
* ReplacementScrappy: Name one Sheen/Libby shipper who supports Sheen and Aseefa's relationship.
** Doppy being Carl's doppelgänger is just a cruel and mean spirited move to fans of the original show.

* DesignatedHero: Sheen has become such an obnoxious prick and not only has he forgotten his [[TheAdventuresOfJimmyNeutron best friends]], but he lies to his Zeenuian friends and doesn't seem to care that his friends and his father are probably missing him back home.
