Uncanny Valley is IUEO now and the subjective version has been split; cleaning up misuse and ZCE in the process

* UncannyValley: In the novel, part of what makes the creature so unsettling is the revelation that he is a modified human.

Approved by the thread.

Added DiffLines:

*CompleteMonster: [[MadScientist Dr. Ernst Kruger]] was a rival of [[MadDoctor Dr. Josef Mengele]] who sought to create a race of [[SharkMan human-shark hybrids]] for [[ThoseWackyNazis the Nazis]]. Experimenting on concentration camp victims with ghastly surgery, psychological torture, and further methods, Kruger killed countless innocents in pursuit of his obsession. Taking a doctor from the camps, Jacob Franks, Kruger forced him to participate after painfully mutilating and experimenting on him as well before they discovered a suitable [[StateSec SS]] officer who was turned into a living shark hybrid via unspeakably painful procedures. Kruger intended to unleash a full armada upon the allies that would tear apart anything in their path, viewing his own genius as the future.

Not YMMV

* KickTheDog: One thing that sets the creature apart from other marine predators is its desire to kill for the sake of killing. Not only does it go after prey items and potential threats, but also small animals like birds, ripping them apart and leaving them uneaten.

* VisualEffectsOfAwesome: The shark-man from the movie version was a Creator/StanWinston creation, so obviously it's extremely well made and realistic looking. Arguably, the best part of the movie.

Cut for having no context; if anyone wants to re-add, discuss it here first.

* PlayerPunch: Amanda's adorable sea lions are gorged upon by the beast for no other reason than to shock the audience. This is more poignant in the movie version where there is only one; in the novel, a few survived.

* ToyShip: Elisabeth and Max.
