** Also the ending could have been a little deeper had the three Cutie Mark Crusaders pair off with the pony who was more acclimated to the design they wanted rather than assume that all three were capable of the kind of design the younger ponies wanted and simply weren't following through with their request.

** A major problem was that Applejack, Rainbow, and Rarity were taking over the projects and wouldn't listen to the Crusaders. So, even if Scootaloo, Applebloom, and Sweetie did get the Karts they wanted, all the credit and ideas would have still been from the older siblings. Not to mention, they still most likely would have been forced to the passenger seat anyway.

Can you see Scootaloo being happy with the swanmobile Rarity built? Not to mention, they still most likely would have been forced to into the passenger seat anyway.

* UnintentionallySympathetic: While A.J, Dash and Rarity are certainly to blame for not listening to their sisters and taking over the competition, it's arguable if they can really be held responsible for ruining the race for everyone else. The reason they ''all'' crashed was because someone had the bright idea of the track having multiple roads all intersect at one point. Really, a crash like that could have occurred at any time, regardless of the main characters' actions.

* BrokenAesop: The Crusaders are supposed to learn that they could have avoided everything that went wrong if they had just voiced their concerns to their sisters. The trouble is, the episode seems to forget that that's exactly what they ''did''. They constantly questioned the older trio throughout the episode, asking if they could do things their way and even outright complained. It seems a little hollow when the older sisters simply try to claim YouNeverAsked, when they were constantly brushing off, or even outright ignoring whatever their younger sisters said.
