** Vendetta's side of it isn't exactly nonexistent, either. While Vendetta does hate Charlotte, it seems to border on obsession, as Vendetta is a little bit ''too'' invested in Charlotte's life on occasion. During a parent-teacher conference in "Parents", Vendetta's parents off-handedly mention that Vendetta talks about her constantly, which means she's thinking about Charlotte even when she has no real reason to. Quite a few fans interpret this as [[{{Tsundere}} Vendetta secretly having feelings for Charlotte but refusing to admit for fear of looking weak to the townsfolk.]]

** Charlotte is rather... interested in Vendetta sometimes, and more than she usually is with other people. She insists that her and Vendetta are going to be the "best of friends", and is probably the only person who tries to be nice to Vendetta (mostly because everyone else fears her). It wouldn't be too out there to see Charlotte as a LoveMartyr whose interested in Vendetta despite the latter's terrible personality. In "Mama Vendetta", Charlotte even mentions being the "dad" of Vendetta's fiends, so make of that what you will.

** Fans are torn on how oblivious Charlotte really is. Is she a StepfordSmiler? Does she realize Vendetta hates her but doesn't care? Is she desperately trying to befriend Vendetta because she has no friends, or in the hope of changing her? Does she ignore Vendetta's open hatred for her, because she has an attraction to her she doesn't quite understand yet? Is she really just that dumb and innocent? Or, D), All of the above. One episode (''Middle Manager Marvin'') implies that she might have some awareness that Vendetta wants to kill her and even went along with it but ain't readily clear.

doesn’t rlly count if that’s what she’s been doing for the very beginning of the series

* MoralEventHorizon: As if terrorizing an entire town with a non-stop flow of fiends and most likely causing a few deaths wasn't enough for Vendetta, she also plans all the time the murder of the only child who'd come within five feet of her in every single episode.

* WhatDoYouMeanItsNotForLittleGirls: It is actually a relatively dark cartoon about attempting murder with demons, and the colors are anything but bright, pastel or pink. But the two main characters are young girls. The original web animation was for a neutral demographic, but the daughter of a Nickelodeon producer loved it, and so Nick made a deal with Amy Winfrey to turn it into a cartoon. If you look at any of the message boards for Making Fiends, you'll see that male fans are extremely rare, though the show has gotten positive reviews from many male critics. Considering Nickelodeon only aired six episodes of the show back in 2008, it could just be that people in general, male and female, haven't had a chance to see it.

** There is also a subset that think Charlotte ''really is'' "super evil", as Vendetta was lead to believe in the episode of the same name and the naive and dimwitted NiceGirl she presents herself as, is really just a cover she uses while she covertly torments people. Usually Vendetta.

** They're is, of course, also the fans who think Charlotte's a {{Yandere}} for Vendetta. Considering Charlotte regularly breaks into Vendetta's house despite her doing '''everything''' in her power to make it clear she doesn't want Charlotte near her, it's not hard to see where they're coming from.
*** In a similar vein there is portraying Charlotte as something of a LoveMartyr. The fact that even after all the numerous attempts on her life Charlotte never ceases to try befriending Vendetta does not help.
