Still too negative/mixed to count as "vindication".

* CriticalBacklash: While nobody is calling the game good by any stretch of imagination, ''Dog Days'' has earned some admiration for how uncompromisingly hideous the game is as an intentional stylistic choice. The gameplay is mediocre even for its era, the visuals are described in the trope above, the story is bleak, and none of it gets any better despite the game constantly showing beauty just out of reach even as you arrive at the places you saw it in ten minutes ago. The end result is something that, while unpleasant to actually play, has earned respect as a piece of art. The fact that it often tends to be around 10-15 dollars through second hand copies and Steam [[VindicatedByCable might've helped its reputation]].

Game Breaking Bug is not YMMV, and this doesn't even read as "game-breaking" (it's about making the game literally unplayable and unwinnable).

* GameBreakingBug: In ''Dog Days'' bullets come straight from the camera. This would make sense in most [=FPS=] games, but both ''Kane & Lynch'' games are thirdperson shooters and join the surprisingly high amount of third person shooters that do this. This becomes noticeable if you stand behind a wall ''without'' going into cover and opening fire at the enemies you're looking at hits them even though you're shooting into a wall. Since the enemies can't hurt you as you're not out in the open but you can still shoot them, this makes you essentially invinvible in this position. While it doesn't make it a complete cake-walk, this is one of the few things that makes completing the game on Extreme difficulty easier.

You'd be surprised just how common this is in TPS games (Newer Hitman games, the newer Tomb Raider games and a good few others)
