Actor trivia shoehorn.

* HilariousInHindsight: The last biblical Dreamworks film released two years before this, ''WesternAnimation/ThePrinceOfEgypt'', featured Moses, voiced by Creator/ValKilmer, who also played Franchise/{{Batman}} in ''Film/BatmanForever''. 16 years later, Creator/BenAffleck, Joseph's voice actor, went on to play the Dark Knight himself in ''Film/BatmanVSupermanDawnOfJustice''.

Former is "not really an example, but-", Latter is a Zero Context Example.

* {{Sequelitis}}: Is far from the worst DirectToVideo sequel out there but is hardly at the same quality that his predecessor ''WesternAnimation/ThePrinceOfEgypt'' which is highly considered one of Dreamworks Animation's best movies if not best animated movies in general.
* SoOkayItsAverage: The reception of most of the people who have seen it.

* TearJerker:
** All of ''Miracle Child'': At first, Joseph's brothers are so happy for their new baby brother and look forward to raising him, only for Jacob to keep them separate and granting Joseph special privileges such as an education and a beautiful coat. We see their relationship break down over time, as Joseph grows up spoiled and arrogant ("I am special, I am smart/ I am somehow set apart") and his brothers resent him as shown by their angry expressions toward him. If only they had gotten to know each other...
** "Because I will not let our father suffer...again."

Per Hindsight cleanup thread Common NOT in Hindsight examples "Two actors appear together then do so in another work"

* HilariousInHindsight: Joseph and Judah are voiced by Creator/BenAffleck and Creator/MarkHamill, respectively. Meaning, basically, [[Franchise/DCExtendedUniverse Batman]] and [[Franchise/DCAnimatedUniverse the Joker]] are half-brothers in this movie.
