Often plays during the more climatic parts of the story, and it perfectly conveys the anguish [[spoiler: Dysis and Clover's friends feel when they realize he's going to die due to an incurable disease]].

In hindsight, the game never presented its ending as happy so I removed my entry there.

* EnjoyTheStorySkipTheGame: The game actually allows for you to skip the puzzles, with Clover already having solved them; some players do this.
* EsotericHappyEnding:
** [[spoiler: Yes, Clover died happy believing that his sister survived the hereditary disease that they both had, but in reality he was lied to and essentially killed by Andre which raises a lot of moral conundrums as mentioned by Vincent and lampshaded by Nikola...also, prior to that, Clover had mentioned to Dysis (known previously as "Vanille") how in his childhood he had a friend he'd meet every day named Lucas; this friend eventually moved away and his father eventually made up a goodbye letter from Lucas to make Clover feel better. Problem was, Clover eventually figured out that the story was fabricated by his own dad; ''[[FridgeHorror what's to say that Clover never figured out that he was being lied to]], [[AllForNothing and died believing that the Dysis he knew decided to lie to and kill him''? What's not to say he died believing he failed his sister?]]]]''
*** [[spoiler: It also doesn't help that Dysis will most likely be traumatized for the rest of her life over Clover, and there's no telling if Andre and Vincent will be able to actually bring down Up-Bring like they said they would]].
