Shipping Goggles TRS cleanup, out-of-universe examples are to be removed as it's now just Fan Speak.

* ShippingGoggles: Mingchao and Baskerville can be seen as being in love, despite their age difference. Mingchao was devastated when [[spoiler: he went missing, tried desperately to find him, and was terrified of losing him again after they were reunited.]] Baskerville would protect her with his own body, was embarrassed when teased about his behavior around her, and cried for her even when he [[spoiler: had amnesia.]] Thus their feelings for each other have been interpreted as romantic by some. However, other fans see their relationship as platonic, one-sided, or closer to brother and sister, especially when looking at Baskerville’s relationship with his late sister, since Chisel appeared to be similar in age to Mingchao. It could also be that some fans find it unacceptable that Mingchao, a minor, and Baskerville, a grown adult, are in a romantic relationship.

This can't have been approved by the Magnificent Bastard cleanup thread; it was written in 2012, it used to be slashed with Manipulative Bastard, and listicles like this aren't used in approved MB entries.

* MagnificentBastard: Blush. Let's just have a run-down of what he's done over the course of the series:
** He posed as an injured traveler who had collapsed outside of Fino's village, befriended her while she 'nursed him back to health', then killed her parents all to steal their sacred treasure.
** He kills Gordy, fellow Syndicate member and Alternate's father, and pins the blame on Mingchao. This lets him use Alternate as a pawn in his quest to steal the Eto Gun until he ditches him in Los Angeles. [[spoiler: Or so he thinks.]]
** He kidnapped Yaghi (attacking the village while the men were out hunting, setting it on fire and shooting the remaining Indians) and threatened to kill him if Mingchao and Fino didn't try to kill each other with their guns.
** He supplied a highly addictive narcotic to Razy[[spoiler:/Baskerville]] after he got amnesia, forcing Razy to obey him in order to get his "medicine."
** Being an all-around JerkAss.

* WhatDoYouMeanItsForKids: The first book alone shows many gunshots, attempted character murder, gambling, drinking, a drunk minor, AttemptedRape, and [[ItMakesSenseInContext Ming Chao using the underwear from the guest character to power up a gun]]. The label clearly states that it is for ages 10 and up.
