* {{Woolseyism}}:
** In the Japanese dub, his catchword for Bugs, "wabbit", was translated as "uhagi", which is a slurred version for the Japanese word for rabbit, "usagi". Likewise, he also slurs other words, like "robot", when he pronounce it as "obot", and many others.
** On the other hand, the Latin American Spanish dubs downplays his speech mannerisms, except in some of the newer versions of him, when he uses insulting adjetives toward Bugs instead.

* UnintentionallySympathetic: Whilst Elmer was always intended to be an IneffectualSympatheticVillain to some extent, as his filmography grew, Elmer's sheer lack of personal malice or cruel streak and long, ''long'' list of humiliating and/or painful defeats led to growing audience sympathies. Even some of the Warner Bros animators felt that Elmer vs. WesternAnimation/BugsBunny was just too one-sided in Bugs' favor. This inspired them to create WesternAnimation/YosemiteSam, who could fill the same role as Elmer, but who would have enough cruelty and malice to be a more enjoyable punching bag.

Since Fudd being Unintentionally Sympathetic is mentioned on the Yosemite Sam page, felt it made sense to cross-wick it here.
