* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: With the exception of [[CreatorsPet Captain Hero]] and the superhero genre, pretty much every character after the first season rarely had any reference to their original cartoon genres, in favor of making them a caricature of stereotypical reality show personalities. Toot got it the worst as they pretty much dropped the idea that she's a former sex symbol who can't understand why people aren't attracted to her by episode four and basically made her nothing more than a one-dimensional fat joke. We never got to meet the other people in her world as we did for every other character, and a later episode revealed she went to fat camp, implying that the whole "former sex symbol" thing was thrown out in the show's already loose continuity.

* AcceptableHardLuckTargets: The mockery of Toot's weight issues is absolutely ruthless. This has been lampshaded a few times. She's been described as things like "the same joke over and over" and "a one-dimensional fat joke". Considering the rise of {{Chubby Chaser}}s and more general acceptance of obese people in recent years, this could also qualify as a OnceAcceptableTarget.

* WTHCastingAgency: Like the original version, the Latin American Spanish dub has heavy examples of PlayingAgainstType, but Creator/ArturoMercado as Wooldoor particularly stands out. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest Latin American Spanish voice actors ever, playing many [[ManOfAThousandVoices famous characters]] such as [[Franchise/ScoobyDoo Shaggy]], [[Franchise/DuckTales Scrooge McDuck]], [[Franchise/StarWars Yoda]], [[Franchise/TheLionKing adult Simba]], [[Franchise/DragonBall Master Korin, Babidi]], [[WesternAnimation/ToyStory Hamm]], and [[Franchise/BeautyAndTheBeast the Beast]]. Expectedly, Mercado described it in an interview as heavy OldShame that continues chasing him today, though he nevertheless accepted the role, [[MoneyDearBoy being a professional]].

* UncannyValley: TheMovie had to be animated in Flash due to the creators being unable to get proper funding. Due to the animation quality being significantly more [[LimitedAnimation limited]], the characters move stiffly and the facial expressions are either dull or downright unnerving. This is especially true for characters like Foxxy and Xandir, due to their more realistic designs.

** Voice actress Creator/KaitlynRobrock got her start in voice acting in her cameo as Smurfette in TheMovie long before she was [[WesternAnimation/MrPickles Tommy]] [[WesternAnimation/MommaNamedMeSherrif Goodman]] and WetsernAnimation/MinnieMouse.

** Presumably, Clara wears purple because no other Disney princess was known for wearing purple. As of ''WesternAnimation/{{Tangled}}'' (2010), Rapunzel takes that spot.

* JerkassWoobie: Toot deliberately sets out to be "the bitch", after believing she can't be the sex symbol, but tends to suffer the most of the entire cast. She becomes more sympathetic as the series goes along.

* CriticalResearchFailure: Many lines involving Princess Clara parody "Creator/{{Disney}} movie cliches" that [[DeadUnicornTrope were never in any actual Disney movie]]. For example, the first episode parodies the "fact" that black characters in Disney movies are always servants, even though most [[Film/SongOfTheSouth (animated)]] Disney movies have no black characters to begin with (the Muses in ''WesternAnimation/{{Hercules}}'' are the first named black characters in an animated Disney film, not counting Sunflower in ''WesternAnimation/{{Fantasia}}'', who [[ValuesDissonance would fit the parody perfectly]] but [[OldShame has been removed from every modern version]]). Her racism also makes little sense, considering Disney has been very tolerant (some would argue to a fault) even as far back as 1950, when Walt Disney hired [[http://talesoffaerie.blogspot.com/2010/06/mouse-under-glass.html revisionist screenwriter Maurice Rapf to make Cinderella come off as less weak and helpless]], and [[https://www.google.com/books/edition/The_Gospel_According_to_Disney/YGtbYTyulb4C?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq=%22She+believed+in+dreams,+all+right,+but+she+also+believed+in+doing+something+about+them.&pg=PA55&printsec=frontcover went as far as to boast about how she was a more progressive heroine than Snow White]].

*** Then there's the episode "Foxxy and the Gang Bang/Toot Goes Bollywood", where Toot challenges Foxxy to stop having sex and viceversa. In Foxxy's plot, she tries to find out the reason for her heavy sexual appetite, and tracks it back to memories of ''WesternAnimation/FatAlbertAndTheCosbyKids'' {{exp|y}}ies sexually assaulting her when she was young, later turning out that the memories were fake and implemented by Wooldoor.
** Spanky's crude and perverted behavior becomes quite creepy for Latin American viewers after his voice actor Creator/LuisDanielRamirez was accused of sexual harassment by other voice actresses, resulting in him getting banned from several dubbing studios.

* HarsherInHindsight: One episode has a Black Rhinoceros make an impassioned plea for people to change their ways before it becomes extinct. In 2011, the western black rhinoceros would be declared extinct by the IUCN.

* FranchiseOriginalSin: From the very start, the show was ''always'' one of the most unashamedly trashy {{Animated Shock Comed|y}}ies on all of television, and thus never had any hope of truly being to ''everyone's'' tastes. However, even with the show's openly acknowledged 'take nothing seriously' attitude present throughout, the first two seasons also combined said attitude with a small number of surprisingly heartfelt moments that allowed the show to have an unexpected sense of sincerity hidden underneath its crass exterior. Unfortunately, this same sense of sincerity was eventually removed in [[SeasonalRot season 3]], which started placing an ill received inordinately strong amount of additional focus on its already present VulgarHumor as well as on just how repugnantly {{unsympathetic|ComedyProtagonist}} the cast could be. And this same problem eventually reached its nadir in the {{grand|Finale}} FinaleMovie, which not only cranked all the raunchiness to such a staggeringly high level that it came across as mean-spirited, but also incredibly clumsily tried to ''justify'' it.

* EnhancedOnDVD / TooHotForTV: This show's DVD version has raunchier scenes and lines and extended footage that had to be cut for time, content and/or legal reasons. Whether this is an improvement or not is dubious, since the censorship was a big part of the show's humor.

* {{Woolseyism}}: The Latin American Spanish dub brings funny new names for the characters (Capitanazo, Puerquísimo Chancho, Morocha Amorocha, Mueble O'Algo, etc.) and a more over-the-top dub and general feeling which enhances the series. Creator/GerardoReyero even considers Captain Hero as his favorite role, more so than others such as [[{{Franchise/Dragon Ball}} Frieza]] and [[{{Franchise/Star Wars}} Han Solo]].

* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: The show is very popular in Latin America, to the point that reruns are still shown on their Comedy Central feed to this very day. The amazingly done dub is one of the main reasons of this.

* WhatDoYouMeanItsNotForKids: Even though it's a cartoon that parodies different types of cartoon characters with a art-style reminiscent of something that would air on Saturday mornings and/or Creator/{{Nickelodeon}}, it actually has tons of Gorn, Fanservice (and FanDisservice), BlackComedy, otherwise highly offensive and politically incorrect humor, Squick, and BodyHorror. But kids still watched it anyway when it came out.
