* TheProblemWithLicensedGames: Well, as expected, the first iOS title. Of the three reviews of the game, all three were panning the title. Critics complained that the lack of activities in the game does not justify it's US$4 price tag. Also, it's {{Strictly Formula}}ic, but what were you expecting from a game targeted at toddlers? Thankfully, this sentiment does not continue into the subsequent games (there were ''four'' more after this one, and each had their own original mechanics).

* NotSoCrazyAnymore: One installment of ''Toy Hospital'' revolves around a toy who doesn't want to be taken to the toy hospital because she's afraid she'll get sick there. The other toys reassure her that she has nothing to worry about, as a hospital is a place to help you get better, not someplace where you'll get sick. However, in the real world there's been a deepening public health crisis involving antibiotic-resistant infections people have picked up while staying in hospitals. In fact, [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hospital-acquired_infection Wikipedia]] has an entry regarding the subject and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention estimates there are as many as 90,000 deaths a year from diseases acquired in hospitals. Given this, adult viewers in the know could easily see this toy's concern as being very, very legitimate, especially given that they're taking her to a hospital she hasn't been able to personally check into see if it's up to standard, one that is run by, well, a 6-year-old kid.

* ShipTease: Lambie and Stuffy are depicted as being very close at times. They even share a slow dance in "Walkin-Talkin Time".
*** Helpful to note that when they slow dance, it's to a love song being sung by a Walkie-Talkie, Walter, about how much he loves and needs his better half, Gracie.
** Any feelings other than friendship might be one sided on Stuffy's part since Lambie seems more outright infatuated with Sir Kirby and Awesome Guy whereas Stuffy makes regular comments and gestures that hint at his trying to get her attention.
*** In "The Rip Heard 'Round The World" Stuffy seems the most apprehensive for Lambie's stitches procedure, but tells her '[Doc] loves you...we all do.' The way he deliberately pauses and then says 'we all do' could easily be read as shipteasing on a preschool level and the equivalent of him saying 'I love you.'
*** Another example that there might be at least some kind of one sided feelings is in "Lamb In A Jam" when Lambie is getting ready to leave with Doc for the day and Stuffy, while hugging Lambie, says in what might be considered a pleading/vulnerable tone 'Don't be gone too long, ok?'

** Similarly, the show inverts the "traditional" family view: Doc's mother works a high-paying and demanding job, and her father is a stay-at-home dad who does activities traditionally associated with femininity, such as cooking and gardening. But they're clearly a happy, well-balanced couple that's doing a great job raising their kids, which quietly attacks old-fashioned ideas of men working and [[StayInTheKitchen women being homemakers]]. (Although a supplementary book, ''Doc [=McStuffins=]: My World'' indicates that her father [[AllThereInTheManual is a chef]]. So, yeah, still cooking, but on a professional level.)
