[[BigBadWannabe Pilaf and Buggy]] were paired up, [[ActorAllusion because they're both voiced by]] Creator/ShigeruChiba in Japan. In the case of Piccolo and Zoro, this would've been a similar scenario since both characters are voiced in English by Creator/ChristopherSabat, but ''Cross Epoch'' was first released on December 25, 2006. Unlike his role as Piccolo since 1999, Sabat wasn't voicing Zoro at the time, as Creator/{{Funimation}} first acquired the rights to ''One Piece'' on April 12, 2007.
