* SpecialEffectsFailure: Paris was subject to one of these in 2011 when one of the falling rocks on the third lift hill dislodged, injuring several park guests. As a result, the simulated earthquake on all versions of the ride was disabled. This is how the Paris version lasted until the 2016 refurbishment, when the third lift hill was redone as a blasting tunnel, much like the California version.
