However, one day Poseidon suddenly starts a rebellion against Zeus which results in her being forced to personally fight him and bring him to Olympus. Her face when she sees the one man whom she admired and adored since her childhood getting viciously executed says it all.

* BaseBreakingCharacter: Sibyl hands down. The ones who do like her like her because she is the most realistic human in the series, courageous, and incredibly honest. Those who don't like her dislike her largely because of a mix of mistranslation, cultural differences, and FanDumb. For example, one of the greatest contentions is that the audience expects her to know who the major players of Greek Mythology are when she is a culturally a South Korean and the most she's ever seen were spirits of East Asian origin. * EvilIsSexy: Aphrodite, something that was a given.

* {{Moe}}: Adrian, given his feeble appearance, dreadful school life and horrible luck.

* FoeYay: Ares is pretty obsessed with Athena, even if its technically a case of StalkerWithoutACrush.

** Adrian is the most recent reincarnation of Poseidon and suffers from lots of discrimination every single day at school due to TheCurse making him a DoomMagnet. During his entire childhood, Sybil was literally the OnlyFriend he had.

** Metis, [[MissingMom Athena's mother]]. Her {{Backstory}} is almost identical to her original role in the ClassicalMythology. [[DeceasedParentsAreTheBest Go]] [[SwallowedWhole figure]]. The way she desperately begs Poseidon to save her child after she dies - [[CrazyPrepared as she knew that Zeus would be suspicious of Athena even if she were to be born a girl, while the prophecy explicitly stated that a male offspring of him and Metis would pose a threat to his reign]] - cements it.
