But then in the villa you find a tape recorder made by Granny Crotony's son that describes his experiences from a tour of worlds the rabbit gave him *before* sealing the deal to sell the villa and the Crotonys to the rabbit. This either makes the manual a red herring or the existence of the tape recorder a plot hole.
