** SeinfeldIsUnfunny: Despite bands replicating the Amesoeurs style and doing unique elements to it, most bands that try to sound like them sound like carbon copies to say the least. Most agree that the bands that came ''close'' to Amesoeurs's known post-punk/black metal sound were Heretoir (who seemed to abandon it for a more heavier sound with ''The Circle'') and Lantlôs (from their self titled to ''.neon'', arguably ''Agape'' too until they went for a more warmer and optimistic sound with ''Melting Sun''). Ironically enough with Lantlos, they ''did'' feature Neige for two of their albums.
