* ThatOnePuzzle: Entering Thierna Na Oge. The Pooka gives you a choice of six magical artifacts: a dragon scale to dispel fire, a feather to dispel wind, a shark tooth to dispel water, a claw to dispel earth, a bat wing to dispel night, or a leaf to dispel wood. Maeldun must take two of them and dispel doorways, moving along the paths to find a ruby, sapphire, emerald and topaz on pedestals, and then put the gems in the proper pedestal based on the color of the room. The trick is that there is no way to tell which combination is correct without brute force, and some doorways simply drop the player back off in the same room. While there is a way to skip it with the wishing well, the player must do it to gain a perfect score, as solving the puzzle gives Wisdom, and the wish for the wishing well gives honor when you make a wish for Branwyn.

If he was invulnerable, he would still have been framed for the murder of the king. So not that.

* IdiotPlot: The entire story, [[FridgeLogic when you think about it]], wouldn't have happened if Maeldun hadn't forgotten to put on his invulnerability belt. The one that had supposedly saved his life in countless battles and that he would be always carrying with him.

The castle isn't Maeldun's home, he's a guest there. And the soldiers chasing him aren't the ones "he once led"; those would be the mercenaries at the camp, who remain loyal to him.

* NightmareFuel:
** The barghest, literally.
** In ''one freaking night'', everything in Maeldun's life changes. Suddenly the soldiers he once led are enemies, his home is a deathtrap he must escape, and nigh everyone considers him a murderous traitor. Sure, the peaceful status quo is restored eventually, but one has to wonder how meaningful he would find it now.

* CrowningMusicOfAwesome - The game contains many awesome tracks, and a jukebox can be downloaded. Notable ones are 'Confounded,' 'Hymn to Geraint,' 'Branwyn's March,' and some more.
* IAmNotShazam - The second of the two kingdoms is the faerie realm of Thierna Na Oge, not the invading goblins. A few of the reviews got this wrong.
