Long that ''The Boogeyman'' was going to be a new show on the network, then [[{{Kayfabe}} explained]] that something had "happened on the set," but that they had a multi-year holding deal with the guy who was supposed to be the star and that in his opinion "the Boogeyman" would be a great addition for Smackdown, then introducing Long to the Boogeyman himself. Boogeyman recited a shortened version of the "NeverSleepAgain" chant from ''[[{{Film/ANightmareOnElmStreet1984}} A Nightmare on Elm Street]]'', substituting himself for Freddy Krueger, before smashing a clock over his own head and saying, "I'm the Boogeyman, and I'm coming to get you!"
