** Vergil likewise has no issue slicing down anyone who gets in his way, gender be damned. Lady learns this when she interrupted Dante and Vergil’s duel and was immediately put on the defensive as Vergil turned his attention to her and slashes at her Yamato. If Dante wasn’t there, it’s likely Lady would be sliced to ribbons. [[spoiler: In [[VideoGame/DevilMayCry5 DMC5]] Vergil’s SuperPoweredEvilSide Urizen has no issue brutally beating both Trish and Lady and shoving them inside his minions as a LivingBattery]].

** Similarly the villains of ''VideoGame/DevilMayCry4'' Sanctus and Agnus have no qualms holding massive blades up to non-action girl Kyrie’s neck, knocking her unconscious and trying to kill her. Much to the rage of her brother of Credo and LoveInterest Nero

*** In the [[DoomedHomeTown Nibelheim]] FlashBack Sephiroth ruthlessly cuts down Tifa with Masamune almost killing her. In the remake Sephiroth shows explicit visions to Cloud of him killing Tifa and [[KickTheDog reveals he personally killed Cloud’s mom too]], both this instances are a BerserkButton for TheHero.

** BigBad Wesker isn’t chivalrous in the slightest. In ''[[VideoGame/ResidentEvil RE1]]'' [[ShootTheMedicFirst he guns down a unarmed Rebecca]] without hesitation (she only survives because her vest is bulletproof). In ''Code Veronica'' (where he now has superpowers) Wesker smacks Claire across the room, puts his foot on her shoulder and kicks her in the face when she tries get getting up. In ''[[VideoGame/ResidentEvil5 RE5]]'' Wesker happily beats the shit out of Jill and Sheva (he will put his hand through them if given the chance), [[spoiler: and even experiments on Jill, shoving a MindControlDevice into her sternum which turns into a ShockCollar when she starts disobeying him]].
** Chief Irons is a particularly despicable example especially in the ''[[VideoGame/ResidentEvil2Remake RE2make]]''. He holds Claire at gunpoint and tied her up before kicking her in the chest and smacking her in the face in front of Sherry and it’s revealed he he’s a wife beating SerialKiller who has raped and killed multiple women and used their bodies for [[TaxidermyIsCreepy taxidermy]]. Also when playing as Sherry there’s NonStandardGameOver of Irons catches and her drags her behind a door implying WouldHurtAChild too. It’s darkly ironic as a news article reveals Irons supports battered women shelters.
** Simmons the BigBad of ''[=RE6=] '' is just as bad as Wesker and Irons when it comes to this, if not worse. Due to his VillainousCrush on Ada he sought to clone her, so kidnapped literally ''thousands'' of women trying make a perfect replica of her and only after 12,235 attempt was it successful. Towards the game he wastes to expense trying to kill Ada after she rejects him as well as Carla (the EvilKnockOff Ada) for betraying him.

** Similarly TheDreaded Nemesis from ''[[VideoGame/ResidentEvil3Nemesis RE3]]'' is characterised by his merciless violence towards Jill. Taken UpToEleven in ''[[VideoGame/ResidentEvil3Remake RE3make]]'' where Nemmy subjects poor Jill to multiple [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown No Holds Barred Beatdowns]]. From the same game there’s also Nikolai who at one point stomps Jill’s fingers while she’s dangling off a platform and knocks her down in the climax.

* In ''Street Fighter''s case the cutscenes and the like invoke this to varying degrees. M. Bison had no problem blowing a hole through Rose's chest, Balrog was ready to punch Ibuki's pretty little face in, and Ed was an aversion instead trying to trick Ibuki and Mika before they figured out what he was up to.
