* Luz Noceda in season 1. Let's see... Luz is made to go through with [[ImaginationDestroyer Reality Check Camp]] after the MassSuperEmpoweringEvent. Only instead of that, she's forced to take part in a DeadlyGame by a xenophobic AntagonisticGovernor. Begged to be hurt by FirstFriend, Julia Wittebane, [[IJustWantToBeNormal who wants her power taken away]]. [[spoiler:Discovers the mangled corpses of half her said new friends, including Julia. She also has the voice of All For One, a complete psychopath, in her mind wanting her to let loose of her moral restraints. In the end, she gives in and becomes a killer herself after hitting her RageBreakingPoint.]]

** Julia Wittebane is the WhiteSheep of her family with [[TheFundamentalist fundamental extremist beliefs]]. They were NOT accepting at all of their daughter coming out as a lesbian, so they ostracized her, verbally abused her, and locked her to one specific part of the house that she wasn't allowed to leave for a month with only her butlers' sympathy. When her superpowers appeared, [[IHaveNoSon they kicked her out of the house]] and onto the streets, with [[WithFriendsLikeThese her church and her religious friends abandoning her]], with only the local pastor on her side. She was looking forward to Reality Check camp and made friends with Luz that turned into a DeadlyGame. When she found out Luz could take away powers, Julia begged her to take them away so for a chance for her family to take her back, despite being painful and being low chance of actually being taken back. [[spoiler:She is later KilledOffForReal by the 2 enemy teams after witnessing her new friends get slaughtered first. When she comes back as a vestige, she's by her friend's descent into darkness.]]

* Riley Stewardson is an assassin for the Wittebanes. Riley's father was [[AbusiveParents physically abusive]] towards the girl and her younger brother but accidentally kills him when they were having an argument just as her [[WhyAmITicking Bomb Touch]] Quirk first activates, turning him into LudicrousGibs and costing her her [[EyeScream right eye]]. Her mother kicked her out of the house for that, Riley didn’t even bother telling her mother about the abuse, thinking it would’ve been like talking to a brick wall. After being made homeless before even finishing high-school, the Wittebane church took her in as a (well-paid) hired gun. They let her know they'd have her killed if YouHaveFailedMe on a job.
** Riley has an [[FamilyVersusCareer internal conflict about her target]] for $10 million, All For One, is her own cousin, Luz Noceda. Ultimately she decides to go through with turning the teen girl into LudicrousGibs with her Quirk. When Riley makes the mistake of trying to go through with trying to kill Luz, she has a brief VillainousBSOD before the All For One user reveals she's NotQuiteDead, goes on a RoaringRampageOfRevenge and she barely escapes with her life. After her failed AssassinationAttempt on her [[ClashingCousins little cousin]], she finds to her horror that her Aunt Camila is on their hitlist next and fails to convince her boss to call it off, [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone breaking down into tears when the full weight of her actions hit her]].

She has a more aggressive and violent personality, with a mean streak and fewer quarrels about using lethal force but its not hard to feel for her. She has gained a HeroWithBadPublicity status back at her hometown, [[spoiler:due her having a body count from the DeadlyGame she was forced to partake in. Has assassins out to get her, including her [[EtTuBrute own trusted cousin]], leading to brutal fights were innocent people get killed in the crossfire. She's even tricked into believing she killed her mother with DeadlyForceField by one of the assassins, completely unaware she was DeadAllAlong and is unable to stop the Golden Guard from destroying Gravesfield in their battle.]] To say Luz gets put through the wringer here is the understatement of the decade and she hasn't even reached The Boiling Isles yet. [[spoiler:Hell, even [[TheSociopath All For One]] is starting to feel sorry for her as she breaks down crying in his arms.]]

However, not only does have to deal with the curse she had when she was a child, has an estranged relationship with her immediate family [[spoiler:and feels immense guilt for unintentionally revealing the location of her homeland to All For One which led to said war leading to many casualties.]]
