* ''WesternAnimation/CaptainFlamingo'': The town Milo and his friends live in is almost always indentified as Halverston and Area, but beyond that, it's hard to pin down specifically where it is -- it could be pretty much anywhere in North America. (Although the episode "Gum Control" showed a Canadian flag hanging in the gym.)

* ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse'' takes place in Beach City, which is located in the state of… Delmarva. Creator/RebeccaSugar based it on some oceanic cites in Delaware, but it’s still hard to say for certain if that’s the rough location that Delmarva is supposed to be.

** A couple of the later episodes indicate that Peach Creak is located in the United States--in one episode (one that takes place in October), Jonny throws an Arbor Day Party and invites the Eds, but Double-D points out that Arbor Day isn't for another six months[[note]]In the United States, Arbor Day is always celebrated on the last Friday in April, which can be anywhere from April 24th to April 30th. In Canada, where the show is produced, the date of Arbor Day varies between provinces, with no national date set--there is, however, National Forest Week, which is set during the last full week of September and the Wednesday of that particular week is known as National Tree Day[[/note]]. And in another episode, Eddy discovers that his ancestors founded Peach Creek, and as shown in the book where he discovered this, Eddy's ancestor look just like him, but in Puritan-style clothing[[note]]This indicates that Peach Creek is probably somewhere in the New England-region of the American Northeast--and to go off of that, Peach Creek could be located in Massachusetts, since that's where the pilgrims (and later, the puritans) ultimately settled[[/note]]. Eddy also tries to pass off turkey basters as "Canadian squirt guns," which actually works, basically spelling out that the cul de sac isn't in Canada.

* ''WesternAnimation/Ben10'' takes its sweet time getting around to telling you that the Tennysons are originally from the town of Bellwood. But no installment in the entire franchise, especially those that spend more of their time in the town rather than having the characters WalkingTheEarth bother to say ''where'' in the United States it is. We've never seen it snowing there, and there is a desert within fifty miles of the town, leading most fans to assume it's somewhere in the American Southwest; something backed up by writer Matt Wayne, who stated he treats the town as such. However, in the live-action ''Film/Ben10AlienSwarm'', a map on a computer showed Bellwood to be in the upper Midwest near the Minnesota-Wisconsin area. Meanwhile, ''[[WesternAnimation/Ben10UltimateAlien Ultimate Alien]]'' reveals that Kevin ran away to New York City when he was a child, while ''WesternAnimation/Ben10GeneratorRexHeroesUnited'' has Ben mistake the city near Rex's home base of Providence HQ, which located in New York State, for Bellwood when transported to his universe, implying that state. [[WordofGod Dwayne McDuffie]], showrunner for ''[[WesternAnimation/Ben10AlienForce Alien Force]]'' and ''Ultimate Alien'' believed Bellwood was in the same state as Springfield from ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons''.

* The location of ''WesternAnimation/BobsBurgers'' (informally referred to as "Seymour's Bay" by writers) isn't in a given state, but it closely resembles San Francisco with all its old-fashioned architecture and steeply-sloped roads. Other clues, including people's accents and certain maps, would suggest it might be on the New Jersey coast.

The park is defintely somewhere in the western US states or Canadian provinces ... but which ones? (The Kookamunga could even traverse ''several'' states/provinces.)

* The town that's home to Sector V in ''WesternAnimation/CodenameKidsNextDoor'' is never named, nor is its location stated, though there are a few hints it's in the state of '''V'''irginia.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddParents'' is set in [[EverytownAmerica Dimmsdale]]. The Christmas Special puts it in Southern California, and it's near the desert, beach, and forested mountains, but a TimeTravel escapade reveals that it was a British colony at the time of its founding (complete with YeOldeButcheredeEnglishe). The only real-life "Dimsdale" is in Alberta, Canada.

* In ''WesternAnimation/MakingFiends'', there's the town of Clamburg. With [[ShapedLikeItself clams]], Puritans and a relation to Vermont and Canada, you would assume it's somewhere in New England. However, that wouldn’t explain how it manages to be [[HeatWave blazing hot]] in December and February. The creator [[WeAllLiveInAmerica lives in Los Angeles, which may explain things]].

* ''WesternAnimation/MonsterBusterClub'' takes place in Singletown, whose location is never explained.

However, in ''WesternAnimation/Ben10UltimateAlien'', it is revealed that Kevin ran away to New York City when he was a child and the now abandoned Total Zone arcade appears which is the same one where Ben and Gwen met Kevin and In ''WesternAnimation/Ben10GeneratorRexHeroesUnited'' While Ben is Rex's Universe that takes place in New York, He believes he is in Bellwood, this seems to indicate Bellwood is in New York. According to [[WordofGod Matt Wayne]] for the production of ''[[WesternAnimation/Ben10AlienForce Alien Force]]'', Bellwood was supposed to be in the Southwest. However, [[WordofGod Dwayne McDuffie]] believed Bellwood was in the state as Springfield from ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons''.

* ''WesternAnimation/CodeLyoko'' is set in an undefined location in France. Satellite shots show the action clearly taking place in the southern suburbs of Paris, but which one is not clear. The characters never name the town, nor do they refer to the river as the Seine. "The Factory" is inspired by a real Renault factory in Boulogne-Billancourt, a southern Paris suburb (it was demolished in 2004). Kadic Academy, on the other hand, was inspired by the Lycée Lakanal, based in Sceaux, further to the South. And the English dub [[CulturalTranslation didn't even acknowledge that it was in France]].

* The city in which the Ranger Tree resides in ''WesternAnimation/ChipNDaleRescueRangers'' is said by [[WordOfGod Tad Stones]] to be meant to be a mixture of [[BigApplesauce New York]] and UsefulNotes/LosAngeles, and many clues bear this out.
* ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'' sharply subverts this. Quahog is a suburb of Rhode Island capital Providence. The Providence skyline can be seen behind the Griffin's house, Brian can casually commute from home to Brown University, and the airport Quagmire works at is T. F. Green Airport. The exact location of Quahog in Rhode Island, however, has been inconsistent. The location of the skyline behind the house and the size of Quahog would make it an analogue for Cranston (due south of Providence) or Johnston (due west of Providence), but some episodes include maps that put Quahog in Tiverton (in the far southeast of the state near Newport and bordering Fall River, MA) or Lincoln (north of Providence), and the skyline of Providence can't be seen from either of those towns.

* ''WesternAnimation/KimPossible'': While the [[TitleCharacter Title Character's]] hometown of Middleton is confirmed to be in the United States, it's exact geographical location is never explicitly stated. But based on what little available canonical evidence there is, many fans assume that it's located somewhere in Colorado--and assuming that Middleton really is in Colorado, it appears to be near either Silverton (a small town in the southwestern part of the state) or Denver (which is both the state capital and the largest populated city in Colorado). Assuming that Middleton is near Denver, it's possible that Middleton's a suburb of Denver.

* ''WesternAnimation/VictorAndValentino'' takes place in the fictional town of Monte Macabre. It has a large Mexican population, however it's unclear whether the series actually takes place in Mexico or not. Many characters (including the brothers) have American accents, the text is in English, and the dollars seem American. It could take place in a southern US state, but it's still not mentioned which. One episode has the characters visit the Nazca Lines in Peru by hot-air balloon, with the round trip implied to take place in the course of a single day.

* ''WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooMysteryIncorporated'': there's a real Crystal Cove south of Los Angeles proper along Pacific Coast Highway (California highway 1) between Newport Beach and Dana Point, but the show's Crystal Cove is simultaneously a Pacific coastal town founded by conquistadors, a former Old West town in the middle of the desert, and three miles from the bayou. At one point in the episode "Theater of Doom", it is mentioned that their location is next to the Pacific so the viewer can only assume that Crystal Cove is somewhere along the West Coast.

* ''WesternAnimation/BeavisAndButtHead'' creator Creator/MikeJudge said he likes to think their town of Highland was in West Texas or East New Mexico. Without his knowledge, animators working on ''WesternAnimation/BeavisAndButtHeadDoAmerica'' drew Texas license plates on the cars with led to Judge deciding the show was set in Texas and ''WesternAnimation/BeavisAndButtHeadDoTheUniverse'' finally confirmed InUniverse that Highland was in Texas.

* Amity Park from ''WesternAnimation/DannyPhantom'' has been hinted at to be anywhere from states like Louisiana to the northwest states like Oregon and Washington. General consensus is that it's located in the central U.S., but that doesn't explain why Casper High has "Northwestern Standardized Testing". David Kaufman stated Amity Park is in Minnesota, but due to it never being mentioned by Butch Hartman or in any episodes, it's not really canon.

* The city in which the ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitans'' animated series takes place is never explicitly named in the show, though it's shown to be on the west coast of the United States. In the ''ComicBook/TeenTitansGo'' comic based on the animated series, it's given the moniker of Jump City. The Titans East, however, get to live in and protect "Steel City." In the ''ComicBook/TeenTitans'' comic that inspired the series, the team was based first in a secret location near Gotham City. Later incarnations were based in UsefulNotes/NewYorkCity and UsefulNotes/SanFrancisco.

* It's intentionally hard to tell where ''WesternAnimation/DoraTheExplorer'' is set, with many conflicting clues placing the setting anywhere from Venezuela to Brazil to Asia. The spinoff series, ''WesternAnimation/GoDiegoGo'', seems to be somewhere set in Latin America. And the spinoff ''WesternAnimation/DorasExplorerGirls'' is equally vague; the city is unspecified, all of Dora's friends speak fluent [[GratuitousSpanish spanglish]], and it seems to be set in the same area as the original. Indeed, for the creators, it was important that the show and the character held a "pan-Latin American" feeling so that they could be indentifiable for all American-born Latinos, instead of just a single group.

* ''WesternAnimation/HeyArnold'' is set in the fictional city of Hillwood. There are very few clues as to where the city is located, other than the fact that there are forests and mountains as well as the beach, all within driving distance. The looks of the city itself don't provide any evidence, but the natural scenery implies that it is somewhere along the Pacific Northwest. Indeed, creator Craig Bartlett is from Seattle, and he has stated that he based Arnold's city on an amalgam of northern cities such as Seattle and Portland, though there is also a little bit of New York City thrown into the mix, particularly with the Brooklyn-style brownstones and the subway. Another thing that suggests Brooklyn is the name of Arnold's elementary school, P.S. 118. The numbering of elementary schools is a system only used in New York City schools.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Daria}}'' is set in the city of Lawndale; although WordOfGod says that it's in Maryland, this contradicts several episodes which show that it’s driving distance from desert and mountains. The city itself is always green, though, and it's also only a few hours’ drive from Boston, and one episode dealt with a hurricane. The city is most likely located somewhere in the Midwest (i.e. Illinois) or the Pacific Northwest (i.e. Oregon or Washington state).

* The Hallmark animated special ''WesternAnimation/JingleAllTheWay'' ([[NamesTheSame no relation to the]] Creator/ArnoldSchwarzenegger [[Film/JingleAllTheWay comedy of the same name]]) takes place in Pineville. Website/TheOtherWiki states that there are at least seven Pinevilles in the United States. The sequel, ''Jingle and Bell's Christmas Star'', mentions "Palm City" -- there's one near San Diego, and the other is in Florida.

The hinted proximity to the unknown town where ''WesternAnimation/FostersHomeForImaginaryFriends'' takes place would put it in the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon or Northern California).

* In ''WesternAnimation/PuppyDogPals'', the location of the main characters' home town is purposefully in order to allow them to go to places like Hawaii, Australia, and France, and come back on the same day.
