Not only is it unusual for the rabbit to show any concern for Daffy, but "old chap" is not an expression the Flatbush-esque Bugs normally uses. (It's more of a [[WesternAnimation/WileECoyoteAndTheRoadRunner Wile E. Coyote]] thing, on the rare occasions he speaks in his Ivy League manner.)
