Convinced of Eduardo's vitriol toward him, Blu is also convinced he has no place in the Amazon and Eduardo will never warm up to him and so he sadly decides to leave...until he catches sight of loggers atttempting to destroy the Amazon rainforest, which snaps him out of his funk and gives him a opportunity to redeem himself to the Spixes (and especially Eduardo), by convincing them to fight for their homeland.
