* CanadaEh: Kevin takes Gina to Canada in "Blind Drunk" an it's full of every Canadian stereotype known to man.

Adding a bit more info.

Added DiffLines:

* SuicidePact: After accidentally causing his friends' deaths in the first episode, Bullet tries to make their deaths look like a suicide pact via dragging their corpses to their dog houses and giving each dog a suicide note (which are implied to have each said the same thing). Randall even calls this a suicide pact word by word.

* AnAesop: Many episodes have one of these, even if the characters [[AesopAmnesia don't actually learn them]].
** "Black and Blue" has one that basically all news have an agenda and twist any given story to fit it. Also, post-traumatic stress disorder isn't a made-up mental illness and should be taken seriously.
** The Aesop for "Karla", Family comes first. Karen learns to put the needs of her son before her mayoral campaign, and risk winning the re-election in favor of keeping Kevin away from his abusive girlfriend.
** "Meet the Jabowskis" is kind of the inverse of the previous Aesop. Gina learns to favor her career as a law-abiding police officer, over reconnecting with her long-lost family of criminals.
** In "Parent Trap", Dusty learns that Thanksgiving parades and Indian football mascots aren't really as offensive as he made them out to be before, as most Native Americans don't even care about that.
** In "Paradise Found", Kevin learns that sometimes, admitting the bitter truth is a better choice to make than living out a blissful lie.
** In "Tucker Carlson is a Huge Dick", Randall learns to treat women with respect and give Gina equal pay. Also, Karen learns to be more supportive of other women and learns that feminism is about letting women be who ''they'' want to be, instead of acting like one specific woman's personal opinion of an "ideal feminist".
** In "Who Ate Wally's Waffles", Robby learns to not be such a dick to his adopted brother and Delbert learns that even though his "adoption" by Robby's parents was literal child abduction, he'd still rather live with a loving family of kidnappers than in the abusive child-sweatshop he was stolen from.
** In "Paradise PD Meets Brickleberry", Woody learns to stop hating on his cousin for something he did a long time ago and put that nasty grudge to rest once and for all.
** The Legion of Dooooom sings a song in "Operation: D.D." that teaches Hopson and Gina that sexual harassment is wrong.
** In "Fallout", Randall learns to be a nicer father to Kevin/husband to Karen.
** The [[SpoofAesop spoof aesop]] of "Ice Ice Babies" is that every horrible thing you do isn't your fault. It's the fault of the rides, games, and attractions at carnivals. So, the next time you sexually assault someone, have sex with a cat, or (allegedly) murder your wife, blame it on a house of mirrors or a whack-a-mole game.
** "Trigger Warnings" has a political Aesop about gun control. As Kevin told Randall, gun control advocates aren't campaigning to take ''his'' guns away. They're just campaigning for things like stricter background checks or not giving guns to crazy people.
** In "Showdown at the O-bese Corral", Randall learns that big is beautiful and to not discriminate against fat people, in what is clearly a [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything metaphor for homophobia]]. The episode also shows that while fat-shaming is indeed a problem, obesity still carries a lot of health issues with it and shouldn't be enabled for that reason.
** In "Blimp City", Randall learns to not run away from his marital problems and instead talk with his wife directly if he has any problems or concerns with how they're preparing for their upcoming baby.
** In "What Happens in Twatemala", Bullet learns the hard way, that gambling is a dangerous addiction that can lead to you losing all your money and belongings.

* IncompetenceInc: The Paradise Police Department is so underfunded that a ''hobo'' is used for disarming bombs instead of a robot. The workers are also too preoccupied with their own interests to actually conduct any work and have committed just as many felonies as their targets. The chief's solution for stopping a monster invasion (and other things) is ''singing "Pump Up the Jam" by Technotronic''. [[spoiler:They eventually get fired for their incompetence and create a new brand named "Party Dudes". Even then, they are so bad that their only target audience is ''pedophiles''.]]

* ScamReligion: In "Dungeons & Dragnet", we see how Preacher Paul uses fearmongering to get people to donate money to him so that he can get rid of the so-called demon spirits in [[TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons Dungeons & Dragons]] games. Preacher Paul uses a large sum of this money to buy shit for himself like hot tubs, limos, and flatscreen TVs.

* OverusedRunningGag: At first, [[BreakingTheFourthWall fourth-wall jokes]] were pretty rare in Paradise PD. In Season 2, Roger and Waco decided they really liked these kinds of jokes and started using them even more. This was all fine and good until Seasons 3 and 4 came along and they pretty much plastered every single episode with [[JustForPun fourth wall-to-fourth wall]] fourth-wall jokes.
