The last part of "Make Your Mark" was released recently, and from what I've gleaned they never gave an explanation for this.

** In the ''Tell Your Tale'' episode "Misty Moves In", the Mane cast initially give Misty a bed in the center of their common bedroom at the Crystal Brighthouse, which causes her problems due to lack of privacy. Realizing their mistake, they move it to a windowed nook of the same room and outfit it with a stylish privacy curtain. At the end of ''Make Your Mark'''s "Father of the Bridlewood", Misty is offered a home at the Brighthouse and is provided with the nook space immediately without any conflict.

* OurDragonsAreDifferent: In "The Isle of Scaly", the dragons have Cutie Mark-like patterns on their thighs like ponies, and their fire each has different kinds of magic, which was previously unique to Spike. G4 also showed dragons became quadrupedal when they reached that size/age, and Sparky was still bipedal, so that hasn't changed.

FIM never explained how this teleportation magic worked, and he was able to cast it prior without Twilight's assistance arguing it was always his own power which he just learned to be more fluent in since.

* {{Retcon}}: Spike using his fire breath to send and receive letters to Celestia seemed to have been a spell cast on it in G4. Here, it's shown to be the unique magic in his fire breath, and he's become advanced enough to teleport whatever he wants to and from him with it.

Added DiffLines:

** The ''Friendship Is Magic'' DistantFinale showed Twilight Sparkle was shown to have significantly grown and chanced appearance, But despite being set after that, in Twilight's recorded hologram massage and stylized story/flashback depictions she's her previous size and appearance which goes unexplained.
