In February 2023, more than a year after the first season, [[https://deadline.com/2023/02/hit-monkey-renewed-second-season-hulu-1235247364/ a second season]] was announced, with production moving to Creator/TwentiethTelevisionAnimation and Creator/LeslieJones set to join the cast. However, the Marvel branding will be removed as of season two, much like ''Series/{{Helstrom}}'', another Marvel-based Hulu series. The second season will premiere sometime in 2024.
