The film follows Ember Lumen (Creator/LeahLewis). A resident from Firetown who believes she's destined to take over her father's shop, but has a tendency to lose her temper in fiery outbursts. Literally. Set to prove that she can control her temper and take over the shop so he can retire, dad gives her an opportunity to run the shop by herself on a sale day. Unfortunately, as the rush of customers proves overwhelming, she hides herself in the basement to let her emotions out and her flames cause the pipes to burst.
