''Brichos'' is a 2007 Brazilian movie, made by Tecnokena. The idea of the movie, according to the director, Paulo Munhoz, was to make "optimistic and good-humored critics to Brazilian society" using animals. The word "Brichos" is a portmanteau of ''Brazilian'' and ''Bichos'', meaning "animals".

Thales, Jairzinho and Bandeira are three students who live in the Brichos Village. They enter a fighting game tournament, but they are overwhelmingly defeated by foreign players. They soon learn that the key to victory is closer than they think.

!! Brichos includes the following tropes:

* AuthorTract: The [[CentralTheme entire]] movie is a lesson about patriotism. The boys only win the tournament when they stop mimicking the foreigners.

* MeaningfulRename: The Brichos Village was before known as Bichos Village. The name was changed after a movie, to reflect the pride from being Brazilian.

* UltraSuperDeathGoreFestChainsawer3000: The unnamed fighting game shown is pretty violent, with characters being decapitated. It's not that graphic though, as the movie is made for children.

* WorldOfFunnyAnimals: All the characters are anthropomorphic animals.

* WorldOfMammals: [[AvertedTrope Averted]]. Some of the most important characters are birds and reptiles.
